In the beginning I really liked prepping my pointe shoes.. 😅 now I put it off as long as possible.
My way of prepping these darlings has changed over the years as I learned what I needed to be comfortable in them. I’ve managed to make them feel like slippers, by now. 🥳

BACK on stage! I can’t believe it really happened. 🙈

I don’t wear any make-up in my everyday life but I missed putting on a full face stage make-up..
Lips as red as blood, lashes so thick they trigger off a little storm when you blink, and hair so tightly slicked back that it stays in its place even after removing the hair tie. 🥺🥰

Throwback to last Sommer when I was still in shape.. 🙈
Honestly, I managed the first lockdown really well but the second one last november really got to me - mentally and then physically.
So I gained a little weight, lost some things but I still love to dance. 🥰

After the last year I’m pretty good at doing ballet via Zoom but till today I had never taken a jazz class online because I literally don’t have space for anything else other than barrework. 🤷🏽‍♀️
@idakummervold ‘s class was absolutely brilliant and I loved every bit of it. Sure, I couldn’t do the whole routine full out so you only get snippets. I’ve learned today that I can do a fankick but not directly after a turn - we‘ll be working on that. ✌🏻
TBH, being in class with all these talented people today was a little intimidating but also very inspiring. 🥰
Thanks @erica_johnson_ for reminding me to be proud of myself no matter what. 🙏🏻

I missed sharing the stage with my favourite people soo much, last year! We somehow were lucky enough to do some exams but no performances.. 🥺
However, I’m grateful that my loved ones are healthy and safe. My NYR is the hope/wish that everything will be fine. 🙏🏻☀️ Fall on me with all your light!
