Today, I celebrate me. 🌸
For the woman I am, the woman I’m becoming and every lesson that brought me here.

This year, I chose peace over pressure, purpose over perfection, and growth over comparison. I’m learning to trust my journey, celebrate the little wins, and give myself the same love and grace I so freely give to others.

Here’s to another year of courage, meaningful work, genuine love, beautiful memories, and becoming more of who I am meant to be.

Happy birthday to me. 🤍🎂✨

From 22–25 September 2026, I had the opportunity to participate in a 4-day Capacity Building for CSOs on Child Participation under the Child Rights Academy, through the MKUA Project, implemented by @zapha_plus with support from @savethechildrentz

One of my biggest takeaways was that child participation is not simply about giving children a voice. It is about creating safe and meaningful spaces where children can express their views, be listened to, respected, and have their perspectives considered in decisions and programmes that affect their lives.

As someone working across @zapha_plus and @zayosi_ I see this learning as something to take beyond the training room.

At ZAPHA+, it will strengthen how I contribute to programmes working with children and communities. Through @zayosi_ it will help us continue creating safe spaces through sport and play where children and young people can participate, express themselves, build confidence and take an active role in shaping activities that affect them.⚽

I am grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect and grow alongside others committed to putting children at the centre of the work.🤝💙

Because meaningful participation begins when we don't just speak for children, but make space to listen to them.

Sometimes, being strong means knowing when to pause.

No matter how busy life gets, give yourself permission to slow down, breathe and recharge. You don’t always have to be doing something.

This weekend, just breathe.🤍🌸

Leo, Bi.

Zawadi Amour Nassor, akiwa Mgeni Rasmi.
