If I were to describe Montana, I would say it’s vast and expansive. It boasts towering mountains, big skies and large lakes( can’t capture their size with a photo or even a video). We spent a couple of days revisiting Glacier National Park, and here are a few memorable photos that capture the essence of Montana from my eye. Our final stop in Wyoming was the breathtaking Tetons National Park. It was the perfect place to end our journey through the state. The Tetons offered a wide range of beauty, from majestic mountains, serene lakes, enchanting fog bows, and vibrant fall foliage. by @marybethsheets

Days 18-23
You’ve probably never heard of Pinedale, Wyoming. Maybe you know of the Wind River Range, which is home to this beautiful mountain range. Pinedale is nestled within this range, and we spent an incredible five days exploring this beautiful area.

We found two exceptional spots for our van during our stay. We spent a few days relaxing and soaking up the beauty of Soda Lake. We then moved on to Green River Lakes. We went hiking, gazed at the breathtaking night sky, and simply sat and enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings. It was a truly remarkable experience. by @marybethsheets

We spent a few days hanging out in the Green River Lakes area located in the Wind River Range near Pinedale Wyoming. What a place! The road is tedious! Took us 1 hour and 45 mins to travel 18 miles. But what a treat… if you are not in the drivers seat. The scenery was something else. What a way to welcome Fall. Day 11, we found ourselves in Medicine Bow, nestled within the Snowy Range of Wyoming. At an elevation of 10,847 feet, we questioned whether it was wise to ascend from 5,100 feet to over 10,000 feet in just a couple of hours. In hindsight, we would have chosen differently. The struggle to acclimatize to such a high altitude was immense. Despite the challenges, the breathtaking beauty of this place was undeniable. The landscape was adorned with alpine lakes and majestic mountains, and we couldn’t help but be captivated by the sight of moose. One of the most memorable moments was sitting at our campsite and witnessing a mother moose and her calf gracefully strolling by. #wyoming #vanlife #alpinelakes #medicinebowpeak #weweresickdidntcare by @marybethsheets
