WHAT GOD STARTS HE FINISHES!
“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns” (Philippians 1:6).

•You may not see your marriage restored … yet.
•You may not see the finances turn around … yet.
•You may not see your health restored … yet.
•You may not see your kids come back to faith … yet.
•You may not see peace in your mind … yet.

But God finishes what He starts!

➖That difficulty is shaping your destiny.
➖The wound is pushing you to The Word.

Our greatest ministry will always be our family … and that family just got a little bigger!

We couldn’t be more grateful to celebrate our son @malachi.bishop and Gods choice for him @myaaamitchell - what a perfect wedding for a PERFECT couple!

Our hearts are full. Your future is bright. We love you both. And yes, God is faithful.

Torrential rain. Flood watch. That didn’t stop THE CHURCH today!

We all showed up.
God showed up.

We declared as a church that we will DIE EMPTY … #thedeathofapassivelife
•Empty of every dream God gave me.
•Empty of every gift He put in me.
•Empty of every assignment He trusted me with.
•Empty of every ounce of potential He placed inside me

Remember: Spiritual maturity isn’t becoming so strong that nobody can change you. Spiritual maturity is becoming strong enough to stay soft in the hands of God.

THANK YOU to everyone who showed up today for LOVE OUR ISLAND as we served in Bay Shore!

So much clean up, work, and painting around the church + providing free laundry at 3 different laundry mats!

Served hundreds of people today while preparing Bay Shore for a fall harvest!

Today we proved once again that SERVING IS THE ROAD TO SIGNIFICANCE!

NINE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE DAYS TOGETHER! I can’t believe we are here….It seems like just yesterday we said “I Do” and now our first born will say these exact words in two weeks 🥲 Life with you has been such an amazing adventure filled with so many blessings along the way! TOGETHER. That’s how we build. That’s how we lead. That’s how we grow.

Tonight people from @lifepointchurch and @church.unleashed came together in BAY SHORE to build on what began in 1953 by Pastor Eugene Benjamin.

Fast forward. 73 years later, we get to build on the shoulders of those who gave sacrificially, attended regularly, and served faithfully.

Every pastor who has led before us:
• Pastor Benjamin
• Pastor Cook
• Pastor Johnson
• Pastor Burnette
… has laid an incredible foundation for what God wants to do next!

Get ready Long Island … it’s not just happening in Commack, or in Massapequa, or in Iglesia, or in our Universities … it’s now happening in Bay Shore!
