I can’t believe my little girl turns 4 today! My sweet baby Rae, Rae Rae, My Rae of Sunshine, Lady, Spaz, and all the other little nicknames we have. No one else I’d rather share my pillow with (except Walter). We are so lucky to have you apart of our family. We love you for all your crazy 🤪 Happy Birthday my love bug! Big thank you to @thebig3rescue for bringing her to us! by @marybuddchi

And is there some kind of highway orphanage that we could visit to see which ones we’d like to adopt?

✨ Continuing to Introduce Our Funny Is Female Festival Participants! ✨

Our next comedian this year is Mary Budd! ❤️🎤

Mary hails from Chicago, where she lives with her husband, Brian, and their dogs, Walter & Rae. 🐶🐶

Mary has an extensive background in improv and, a few years ago, decided to give stand-up a try. Thankfully for all of us, she discovered that she really loves it! 😂

Since then, Mary has performed on shows at the Lincoln Lodge and at venues all around Chicago. She also co-produces a monthly all-female open mic at Babs Comedy Club, helping create more opportunities for women in comedy.

Mary brings authentic stories to the stage, with a sweet taste of nostalgia that will have you laughing, reminiscing, and hopefully leaving the show with a big smile.

We’re so happy to have Mary joining us for this year’s Funny Is Female Comedy Festival, and we can’t wait for you to see her!

Keep following along as we introduce more of the talented women who will be joining us. There’s plenty more funny to come! 💕😂

Chicago, baby, I’m so sorry, I forgot our anniversary. Again. I’m the worst! But you are the BEST! I cannot believe it’s been 20 years. Here’s to many more, love you! taken in Chicago, Illinois by @marybuddchi

That’s a wrap on the Budd family Labor Day weekend trip 2026. We took the kids (dogs) to Pewaukee, WI. They got Kopp’s frozen custard, some cheese curds, a few french fries and we took them to 7 different parks!

Clearly he is my son, we just love a water view ❤️

That sunset though

Every trip we somehow always watch MIB, it is our vacation movie. Most of the time it finds us while flipping through channels

After I stopped recording Brian said “Don’t quit your day job” 🙄

Someone rolled in 💩 at the park so he got a spa day

The best and only attempt at a family photo

Maybe they like each other?

I was about to turn off the light and go to bed and I saw this and my heart melted 😍 maybe there is hope of them becoming closer. I hope this trip helped bond them more. by @marybuddchi
