MEET OPIA! 👁️

Mary-Clare Bone is an actor, theatremaker, & filmmaker from Alabama. She found a love of performance art through classic films and dance when she was young, when she began doing theatre at fourteen - she was immediately hooked.
She studied Theatre with a Concentration in Acting at The University of Alabama where she found a love for writing and producing original work. She moved to Los Angeles in the fall of 2024 where she met Michaela and Opia Theatre was born! She is so grateful to be able to pursue her passion and love through Opia and is so glad to be bringing people together through such a magical art form!💌💐

WE ARE CLOSED!

We just closed our very first production and what a beautiful & wild ride it has been!
We cannot express our gratitude enough to everyone that has supported Opia over these past few months and has helped in any way to make Stuck happen. We are so proud and humbled and full of love. Stuck has been such a labor of love and a dream come true and we are just over the moon! Thank you thank you thank you.
It feels so bittersweet but… this is just the beginning ;)

STUCK BY JESSICA GOLDBERG!
Presented by Opia Theatre Company

Lula and Margaritah are best friends since forever, stifled by their environment and unable to find a new reality than the one they’ve always been stuck in. They try to keep things as they always have been in their co-dependant friendship while navigating the bumpy road of unconventional romantic relationships and caring for Margaritah’s baby, Olive. Lula and Ritah’s best-friendship slips through their fingers and ties them to a new idea of the world. ‘STUCK’ examines what it means to live in a cyclical reality and how deep must roots grow to be truly planted where you are.
