Biennial fall break coaster trip with @lj_coasters / @lukas_johnstun ! We rode a load of thrilling rides at @hersheypark and @sfgradventure , did a self-guided tour through downtown Philadelphia, and even snuck in a college tour (@drexeluniv Architecture/Design college). It was a lot of go-go-go, but so much fun hanging with my favorite teenager, learning about both parks and all the rides from our family coaster enthusiast, and checking a few parks and places off our must-see list. by @maryelizbth

22 years married! Pope Leo recently equated the concept of love to more than just a feeling — but also a decision and a journey. And that’s exactly what my love for this guy looks like. I’d choose him as my partner every day. It’s been a long journey, and looking forward to the road ahead. Love you, @johnstunkase! by @maryelizbth

We have a sophomore! 😭🥰😭🥰! First day of school at Saint Joseph Catholic High School-Home of the Jayhawks. I know it’s going to be a great year. by @maryelizbth

#France #aesthetic #francevibes (last post, people!) by @maryelizbth

My French photo dump continues. The cities were more lush and green than I thought they’d be, and I loved how the countryside reminded me of rural Kansas. by @maryelizbth

Final leg! Pont du Gard (ancient Roman aqueduct and 1000 year old olive trees), Les Baux de Provence (ancient city built into a limestone mountain overlooking the Provence countryside, the best fresh nougat), Arles (Saturday market, Roman colosseum, and one fancy old laundromat), amazing @benharper (voice of an angel) concert in Toulon, and wrapping it all up with a jambon beurre (oui, that means ham and butter) sandwich and macaroons from @feuillette_officiel before heading to the train station. I have so many more photos, which I will bore you all with later. It’s safe to say that France has earned a spot on our beloved place list. Flying out tomorrow, but we’ll be back someday. by @maryelizbth

Onto the next leg — Lyon (gorgeous old town, so many book stores, the best macaroons, cool old-meets-new churches, and this cute dog) and Avignon (Palace of the Popes, a huge festival we didn’t know we were joining, and the most lovely night time stroll through a walled-in 14th century city). And so much fromage — like cheese-as-my-main-dish quantities of fromage. by @maryelizbth

The first half of our France trip is done and letmetellyou — did NOT think I’d love France so much. Am fully committed to continuing my @duolingo journey so I can have some real conversations the next time we’re back. In general — so nice to be back in Europe, amidst many amazing things that remind me how old our civilization is, how beautiful people are, how much I adore seeing the world with these guys. Paris — 👩‍🍳😘. by @maryelizbth

#texas by @maryelizbth

Wrapped up a whirlwind Texas trip — my first time outside of an airport connection. Fort Worth, Arlington, Dallas, Houston, Galveston. And MLB, Roller coasters, BBQ, rodeo, space shuttles, World Cup conversations, and waves with @johnstunkase and @lukas_johnstun and the Maxwell’s. Be sure to follow @lj_coasters for some coaster content. Am 100% thrilled with our Texas adventure! by @maryelizbth

And that’s a wrap for @lukas_johnstun ‘s first swim season! The team did awesome at State. No podiums for Lukas, but PRs and loads of fun; and the team as a whole did amazing. What these photos don’t capture is all the fun our swim parent group had in the stands all season long. Love our @stjosephutah community! #thebest #wearestjoes by @maryelizbth
