Marygold Cyclery: Minnesota’s Newest Bike Shop! Full interview with the man himself on youtube now 🌼🌾✨🫂

Congratulations, Chucky! @marygoldcyclery is officially OPEN!

Sunday - Tuesday: CLOSED
Wednesday - Friday: 11am - 6pm
Saturday: 10am - 5pm

SMOKING THAT SHIT THAT MADE MARY GOLD!

I had the lovely opportunity to sit down with our beloved papa, the person I owe so much of my love for cycling to today. After the grand opening party, Chucky takes us on a tour of the shop, shares what you can expect, and walks us down memory lane of how Marygold Cyclery came to be.

Whether you need your bicycle serviced or just want to stop by, share some time, and enjoy a good conversation, please show some love and support for this new space in our cycling community here in Minnesota.

Stoked to see this one come to life. Welcome to the Minnesota family.

🥀🥀 for S A L E 🥀🥀
1986 Raleigh Alyeska

Available at Chucky’s new shop @marygoldcyclery
Go check it out!

This Raleigh is dear to my heart. I drove to Iowa and slept in my car overnight to get the frame. The merlot color, lugs and geometry of this bike were easy to fall in love with. I rode it often for a year before finally admitting to myself that unfortunately it’s just a tad too small. So I’ve built it up to sell for someone else to enjoy.

Lots of rack, fender and bottle cage mounts and fun parts on this thing. If you’re looking for a new commuter or light touring rig this could be it. Test ride it at Marygold Cyclery 🟠 591 Hamline Ave N 🟠

NOTABLE PARTS:
Velo Orange soft touring saddle
Kalloy set back seat post
Nitto stem and vintage cruiser bars
Shimano AT-50 canti brakes
Lee chi roller yoke hangers
Suntour Accushift shifters (rear index, front friction)
Suntour Accushift Alpha 4050 rear derailleur
MKS Foot Jaws pedals
Double wall 27” wheels with Specialized hybrid tires
New Shimano cassette

GEOMETRY:
Seat tube 23.5” 60cm
Stand over 33 1/4”
Top tube 21.5cm
Chainstay 18.5” - wheelbase 42” taken in St. Paul, Minnesota by @marygoldcyclery

This Friday!

Stepwise and Marygold are joining forces and loading up the cargo bike with some coffee and heading down to Crosby Farm Park!

We will be meeting at the Crosby park parking lot fire shelter at 10am. From there we will do a short walk (quarter mile) down to the water where we will have free iced coffee and lots of hot water to brew pour overs and play with some fun coffees we’ve been enjoying lately.

What to bring:

- Yourself
- A mug
- A camp chair
- Snacks
- Hydration (aka water)
- A brewer to brew with us!
- A dose of a favorite coffee you’ve been enjoying lately by @marygoldcyclery

Howdy!

I just wanted to pop in for a little update. We’ve been in the Twin Cities for just about 8 weeks! It’s been such a blast seeing friends, making new ones, and getting to know the lay of the land. We’ve been slowly getting things together to get Marygold planted. We don’t have a timeline quite yet but will keep ya’ll posted along the way.

In the meantime, I’m setup to do some minor work (tune-ups/adjustments/etc). Feel free to reach out!
