Holding his little hand a little tighter, knowing one day it won’t be mine to hold forever. 🥺💙

Hey moms & book lovers! Today is kind of a special day. A new Christian middle grade (that means age 7-12) Christian book series is out today. David’s Diary is like Diary of a Wimpy Kid but with the message: with God, all things are possible.

The first two books, The Summer Camp Disaster and The Science Fair Sabotage, are out! I’m happy to be part of the virtual book tour.

The details: David Jesse King, a funny, silly, precocious, Jesus-loving fourth grader who makes mistakes but learns, grows, and asks for forgiveness! His best friend is Nate, a quieter, more reserved but wise buddy.

The books hint at characters who have their battles (neurodivergent). Nate is sometimes fearful, doesn’t like scratchy clothes or new foods, but he also decides to be brave and just go for it. David can be downright messy with big emotions, but you see him learn self-control and asking for forgiveness. You even see him pray and ask for help.

The core message of the books is just having fun and knowing that with God, all things are possible.

You can find David’s Diary on Amazon, B&N.com, or at DavidsDiary.com. DavidsDiary.com also has prayers for parents raising kids who need extra help and sample chapters.

These books are perfect for summer!!

This virtual book tour is sponsored by @christianfamilybooks . Follow @davidsdiarybooks for updates!

I don’t actually make drinks for myself anymore. I make them for my toddler and just get the honor of taking the first sip. 😆

And if I could ask for one thing, it would be to slow down time just a little.

You don’t have to have your whole future figured out right now. Just keep going.

Because sometimes the best learning happens when little ones are simply busy building, knocking it down, and building it all over again. 🧱💕 @megabloks

Even a little toddler can preach a big message: Love God, have faith, and trust Him. 🙏❤️✝️
