Faces of Cancer by my friend, Kim VanderPoel is officially available today.
This book was written for the person in the middle of cancer—and also for the person years beyond treatment who is still making sense of what happened. It makes room for fear, anger, grief, loneliness, vulnerability, questions about God, and hope without pretending any of it is easy.
I’ve been grateful to be part of Kim’s launch team and help bring this book into the world.

I received the sweetest note from Project Hope Foundation, Inc. today. This brought tears to my eyes. I 💝 this organization founded by two mothers who created a therapy/education system for people with autism in the Upstate.

They have helped our sweet Brooklyn thrive. Today, I watched Brooklyn hold his little brother’s hand in the car. 💙 by @marylusaylor
