Happy SEPTEMBER!! Somehow! Summer’s finale is here & we’re finally getting close to Autumn 🍂 with Back-To-School upon us, I wanted to properly let y’all in on what exactly it is that I do!

While most of you have seen my posts about upcoming Gigs, the range of freelance work I’m ‘hire-able’ for spans much further! PLEASE NOTE: EVERYTHING I offer comes with a PWYC approach with suggested sliding scale rates. I believe that absolutely no one should be turned away from deepening their relationship with The Arts and I’m determined to find a solution that works for each individual! I also LOVE a trade 💃🏽✨

As Pride month comes to a close, here are just a few snapshots of the People, Community, and Projects that I have been so deeply proud to be connected to and involved with over the past few months ❤️ I am a Loud Advocate for the importance of Community 365 days a year, but the urge to impress the necessity of having genuine, loving people who you can pour genuine love into has been overwhelming recently. Next month marks ONE YEAR of navigating life as a working Musician. I’ve been reflecting on how much this has meant for me in terms of reclaiming my voice, my creative autonomy, and my confidence and belief in myself as a human and artist. I’ve met some of the most incredible people, gotten to play my favorite music across about 100 years of the musical pantheon, and hold consistent space to /catharte/ through songwriting, and getting to share my most authentic selves.

I’ve struggled to play piano in front of people since I was a child, internalizing that since there were people who were more trained, I shouldn’t dare consider myself a pianist, or even try. These limiting beliefs come to fruition in our lives in so many ways, and what I’ve been working to integrate is: Honest Artistry is Human; Being Human is not only having “flaws”, but embracing them as the most unique and authentic parts of ourselves, alongside what we would traditionally celebrate. Easy to say; becoming easier to do ❤️

All of this to say, I’m so proud of my journey to get to this point, and am deeply emotional and grateful to those who have been along for the ride. Seeing myself through the eyes of friends who love me wholly has been such a life-changing, important gift of perspective.
