@jasonwoodland1 of Woodland Advisors throws some of the best ViP networking events, and tonight’s was no exception.

We were at @steinwayutah, and were able to have Isaac Jackson a longtime piano teacher and founder of Steinway Piano Gallery-Utah play, it was beautiful to listen to the live music on such an amazing piano 🎹.
I was very surprised, but deeply honored with the first Woodland Advisors Community Builder Award ❤️. The networking was off the charts with good friends and community leaders. Thanks again Jason for bringing people together 👏 by @marythequeenbee

Today would have been Norah’s 20th birthday.

There are some people who come into our lives and leave an imprint that cannot be erased. Norah was one of those people.

She was a beautiful light, and anyone fortunate enough to know her was better for having known her.

Norah was incredibly intelligent, kind, compassionate, accepting, creative, funny, and wonderfully unique. She had a gentle spirit and an amazing ability to connect with animals. She seemed to understand them in a way that was almost magical. She was truly an animal whisperer.

She loved animals, art, music, fashion, adventure, and learning. She had a wonderfully silly sense of humor and loved making her family laugh. She was an incredible artist and had a gift for seeing beauty and possibility in the world around her. And she loved her mom deeply.

Heather and Norah shared something very special. Heather nurtured Norah’s curiosity, creativity, love of animals, and love of learning. She encouraged her to be brave, to create, to explore, and to become the person she wanted to be.

Today, I don’t want to focus on how we lost Norah. I want to remember how incredibly fortunate we were that she was here.

Today, I celebrate her beautiful smile, her intelligence, her creativity, her kindness, her humor, her compassion, her love for animals, and the light she brought to the people around her.

Norah, you were loved deeply. You are missed beyond words. And you will always be a beautiful part of our family and our lives.

Happy 20th Birthday, sweet Norah ❤️

I hope wherever you are, there are animals to love, music to enjoy, art to create, and someone who appreciates your wonderfully silly sense of humor.
