Thank you, Fargo Film Festival for including my Film, The Swing, a short experimental piece from the larger project Geography of Memory. March 17 through the 21st. https://fargofilmfestival.com/

"When the wildfire in Altadena destroyed her home of twenty years, filmmaker Mary Trunk recognized that the blaze entered her creative life with the same intensity it carried as a force of destruction. Months prior to the fire, Trunk had invited dancers to perform throughout the house and yard.

The experimental film that resulted, "Geography of Memory," screens in the 2026 Fargo Film Festival, taking place March 17 to 21 at the Fargo Theatre." by @marytrunk

Life Raft and more will screen March 7. Tickets: https://www.takeyourmedicineandsmile.com/
“Life Raft” is a short experimental video that weaves together a collage of archival footage — a young girl swimming, window washers suspended outside towering buildings, bustling city streets seen from their perspective, a burning building, and a montage of fragmented objects, among others. The film explores how observation intertwines with memory.
