Have you ever heard of ā€œear seedsā€? Ever wondered what the heck they’re even doing? Save yourself the Google — and tune into this episode! And no, it’s not jewellery, but yes, they come in gold and Swarovski, too šŸ˜‰

My amazing guest @wellnesswithamrit presents on the topic and brought some of her knowledge to us. According to her, they may just be the next mainstream up-and-comer out of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Plus anyone can learn the basics. Such an exciting night at the official screening of Trust Me I’m a Doctor. šŸŽ„šŸŽ¬

So proud of David Julian Hirsh (playing Howard K. Stern) and this incredible cast, including Kal Penn, Linda Hamilton and Abbie Cornish

The film tells the fascinating and complicated true story of Dr. Sandeep Kapoor and his relationship with the iconic Anna Nicole Smith, and takes you inside a chapter of her life that most people only knew from the headlines.

Trust Me I’m a Doctor opens in theatres nationwide October 16.

Can’t wait for everyone to see this one! šŸ’«

Had such a great experience getting my hair done at @florelosangeles. I had long layers cut from the incredible @breebishophair for the first haircut I’ve had in such a long time! They also suggested a clear gloss to add depth and shine.

Repost • @parkwayplaceevents To our Parkway Place Clients and Community,

It is with great sadness that we formally announce the passing of our owner, George Zilba.

George passed away on Sunday, August 9th, surrounded by his family after a struggle with illness.

To work for George was to be held to a higher standard, be ready for the next ā€œbig idea,ā€ and, most importantly, feel appreciated. He was a true entrepreneur and leader who was loved and respected by all who worked for him. He loved a good event and had even higher expectations when it came to the food. To hear George say, ā€œGood job,ā€ meant that it was truly earned—and appreciated.

George built and ran Parkway Place for the last 20 years. Beginning construction in 2006 and opening our doors in 2007, his vision for the building—from its aesthetics to its logistics—was thoughtful and intentional. That vision can still be seen and appreciated throughout Parkway Place today.

As we prepare to celebrate our 20th year in business, it hardly seems possible that George won’t be here to join us in the celebration. His legacy is woven into Parkway Place, and we are grateful for the many years, memories, and opportunities he created for all of us.

Rest in peace, George. You will be deeply missed.

With Love,
Your Parkway Place Employees

I don’t know how to write these words. I don’t know how to talk about my Dad in the past tense.šŸ’”
This week my incredible father passed away. Typing these words feels impossible and gut wrenching.
Dad has always been my hero, my fierce protector, my safe place, my greatest champion, he set the standard. He was the rudder of my life.
Since I was born, I have never known what it feels like to face this world alone, because I always had him, no matter what. Just hearing the sound of his voice could make everything feel okay again.
Dad was brilliant. Even at 87, his doctors marveled at how extraordinarily sharp his mind remained. His wit was even sharper, and no one could make me laugh like him.
He was enormously proud of serving his country as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army, and that heart of an officer never left him.
He fought enormous health battles, and ultimately cancer, with the strength of a thousand men. Through losing my Mom, his high-school sweetheart and wife of more than 60 years, through the unimaginable loss of my brother Georgie, and through his own illnesses, Dad somehow never abandoned his post. He ONLY cared about everyone else.

For much of the past six years, I spent an enormous amount of time in Ohio and a huge part of my life became caring for and advocating for him. I fought for answers, doctors, treatments and every possible chance I could find. The roles between father and daughter sometimes reversed, and protecting the man who had spent his entire life protecting me became one of the greatest privileges of my life.
One of the greatest lessons Dad gave me was how to treat other people.
He never turned his back on someone simply because life had. Throughout my life, strangers have approached me and said words I have heard more times than I can count:
ā€œYour father saved my life.ā€
Most of the time, I never even knew what he had done for them.
That was Dad…Quiet generosity and strength.
You have always told me my whole life ā€œjust look over your shoulder and I will be thereā€ I don’t know how to navigate these waters ahead now, but I am still going to think you’re fulfilling your promise just from somewhere I can’t see yetā™„ļø by @maryzilba

Are you getting enough DEEP SLEEP? Temperature is a huge factor, according Dr. Tara Youngblood (@dr_youngblood).

Here’s what I learned:
Deep sleep flushes out toxins, repairs tissues, and literally keeps us young.

The principle:
Your body’s core temperature matters more than you think.

In practice:
Cooler environments promote deep sleep by dropping your core temp by 2 degrees.
Heat triggers hot flashes and disrupts rest, especially with aging or menopause.

Memory foam feels cozy but heats up, blocking deep sleep.
