Jakarta in a glimpse— super grateful for Maya Gallery’s @mayagallery.sg collaboration with Hadiprana Gallery, so proud of hubby’s solo debut, 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒖, and being the first Singaporean artist to show in a prestigious institution. Every exhibition overseas lends different for us, but it’s the warmth and hospitality of the people there that makes it especially heartfelt. Thanks to @vanessa_ywp, Ibu Puri Hadiprana, Pak Johanda, Nadine, Arsya, family, friends, collectors and every single one who was part of this journey ❤️

While the sold works are being packed for delivery to their new homes in Jakarta, we welcome you to visit @hadipranagallery in Kemang to view the rest of @jeffreywandly’s beautiful pieces.

Sampai ketemu lagi!

𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒖 opened on 26 September 2026 at Hadiprana Gallery in Kemang, Jakarta. A collaboration of two galleries and a solo debut in Indonesia by hubby @jeffreywandly, it was officiated by HE Kwok Fook Seng, Singapore Ambassador to Indonesia. The best part for me was having our three kids join us on the opening weekend, as well as family and friends ❤️ Though we’re now back in Singapore, the exhibition is still running. Do catch it if you’re in Jakarta!

Excited that Maya Gallery and Hadiprana Gallery will be co-presenting 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒖, Jeffrey Wandly’s debut solo exhibition in Indonesia!

𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘶 journeys through the urban landscapes of Singapore and Jakarta, exploring the familial, historical and cultural connections that flow between Singapore and Indonesia. A crucial component of the exhibition is a personal prologue—a tribute to Jeffrey’s artistic heritage through Minangkabau architecture, portraiture and music.

Join us for a celebration of the beauty and energy of cultures shaped through journeys across an ever-expanding world.

FINALLY HOME! In the midst of uncertainty, flight cancellations, airport closures, forest fires, volcanic eruptions, falling dust, and a bout of flu and fever, there was also generosity, kindness, friendship and warmth. We are deeply grateful for the love and care shown to us by family and friends in Jakarta.

‎فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
“Indeed, with hardship comes ease.” — Surah Ash-Sharh (94:5–6). No difficulty is permanent, and that with every hardship comes relief. It is a promise from Allah — one that became especially meaningful during these unexpected days.

When we heard that Soekarno-Hatta Airport had finally reopened, we were excited to book our flight home. But there must have been a mad scramble for seats, because airline websites were crashing and fares had escalated dramatically! We thought it was a sign for us to wait it out a little longer, and chill. And so, after all that uncertainty, we’re finally home. Tired, a little shaken, but more than anything, 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱. 🤲🏼

To everyone in Jakarta who checked on us, opened your homes to us, helped us navigate the chaos, fed us, cared for us and kept us company — 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂. You reminded us that even when circumstances are beyond our control, we are never without people who care. ❤️

And if you’re still “stuck in Jakarta” and encountering “system errors” on the main airline portals while trying to book your way home, we ain’t gonna gatekeep – Trip.com offered faster and easier booking confirmations. It got us our flight home on @singaporeair. 😊✈️

Congratulations to my niece Hanim & Hisham on their Javanese-themed wedding! Their akad nikah (solemnisation) and wedding reception was held at the Orchid Country Club. Happy to reconnect with our Malaysian relatives too. May the newlyweds have a beautiful marriage till jannah! 🌺✨❤️🎉 by @mas.shaari.sg

Wasn’t expecting to be back in Bali. It’s been 10 years since the last time we were here! A must-do is visiting museums, galleries and artist studios… and of course, reconnecting! ❤️

This young lady not only danced through varsity competitions, she went on to be president of the Nanyang Business School’s Markethink Club, interned with porsche, was panel speaker at an AI conference, and graduated in accountancy from NTU last July 💃🎓 Equally proud of her for coming back stronger from her ACL injury/surgery, running her first marathon, doing that hyrox race, and settling into her first fulltime job! To our first-born aka smartypants, Mariessa, congratulations on your achievements! Alhamdulillah. And may Allah continue to protect and guide you on your journey. 🤲🏼❤️Love Ma & Pa by @mas.shaari.sg
