I’ve been meaning to say this for a while now, but I’ve been seeing a lot of art promoting pages featuring a bunch of Ai animated series & it always feels weird when I see it.
Environmental issues aside, When did y’all start doing this? When did we start accepting this? What happened to promoting & hiring actual animators?

In my documentary “A Storyteller’s Arc,” it was discussed that we needed more leading black characters in the anime space & the importance behind it. This will be my contribution.
I don’t just want this to be another black story, I want this to transcend the current standard for us! I want people hanging my series up on their walls the same way they hang up Dragon Ball, Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, and so many other iconic stories.
I know it’s taking a while for the release, but I NEED this to blow up. I’m too proud of it, and I want you all to be proud of it to💙

There’s 3 things I can’t go through life without: God, family, and in this case, my imagination!

Growing up, I had a hard time expressing my full self due to bullying or peer pressure. Drawing was an outlet I picked up from my dad which helped put my emotions on paper. As I got older, I’d be introduced to comic books, anime & other stuff that was an escape from reality. I wasn’t just enamored by these worlds. I wanted to be in these worlds. I’d imagine my OC’s episode by episode thinking “What would I do in this situation?” Maybe that’s why I’m pursuing my own created series now.

As time went on, I delve into videography. The way I see it, a video is just a live drawing. There’s a way to make things how you want with the right angle, lighting, editing, etc. When I fell out of drawing & took on sports, videography became my second love. I thank my uncle for that.

Once college came around & I wasn’t hooping anymore, I was lost. I spent so much time on sports that I felt like I lost my other skills and hobbies. Then 2020 happened, & suddenly I was stuck in my dorm finding ways to pass time. So with the money I had, I bought a used iPad, started recording off my broken iPhone 7, & it was like an old flame finding its spark again✨

Fast forward today, & now I’m pursuing both fields, working with so many people & groups to create something special. My mom is who inspired me to take this hobby & turn it into a business with upmost confidence & strategy. I’ve had so many people try to tell me that these goals were “unrealistic” or they didn’t understand. But that’s why I have to keep going; To hold their hand & show them that it’s possible! It’s all possible!

Philippians 4:13 could tell you better than I ever could.

I know my path isn’t traditional. I’m aware I’m usually the first to pursue these fields and ideas when it comes to the groups I’m in. I know my position is in jeopardy in these times. But I’ve been through fire before, I’ve dealt with fake friends, I’ve been broke. Here I am, cap & stole, smelling nature, & making a career out of what was thought to be impossible for us.

Let’s see what happens next💙
