The Lorax is branded as a child’s film but more of us need to heed the warning!
Having moved I really see the importance of not needing a lot of clothes and appreciating thrift shopping more for furniture and clothes. Cycling and carpooling are very common as public transport is pretty much non existent here. It’s scary to think our reliance on Al is causing water shortages and putting more pressure on an already worrying climate crisis.
Appreciate the world around you and look after it in return 💚 🌎

✨It’s all about perspective ✨

Yes travelling and moving and changing is all very daunting and scary but it can be also a lot of fun! I’ve met the most wonderful people and started to learn about a culture and a language I was always curious about (Te reo Māori). I’ve never lived abroad nor have I ever really travelled solo more than a week or two.

It’s all about shifting the mindset to see how you’re changing and evolving. Some days are tough, some days you just want to be home in your own bed and with your family. Other days you’re on an adventure and can’t believe how lucky you are to experience this!

It’s been 6 months since I left Ireland 💚 What started off as a trip to visit my sister and venture further afield, turned into a visa and the journey to creating a new community of people 💙 (whilst trying hard to keep up with my wonderful friends who are 11 hours behind 🕰️)
Luckily you’ll find Irish people wherever you go so even if you’re feeling homesick ❤️‍🩹…they’ll be a GAA club or trad session not too far away ☺️
