Day 24/30 of watercoloring daily to improve my skills ✨️ This cute hippo was easier than expected! I had some trouble with the background stripes. I don't love the spread but the color is fun. Easy card to save for later when you need a birthday card 🎉 . . . . . #watercolor #diyinspiration #cardmaking #creativelife #birthdaycard aquarel, watercolor, watercolor painting, watercolor cards, watercolor cardmaking, watercolor tutorial, watercolor techniques, handmade cards, cardmaking ideas, DIY cards, cardmaking inspiration, creativity, birthday cards by @mashashobbycorner
Day 12/30 of making a watercolor card daily 💫 Today I figured out that you can put a birthday hat on whatever animal you want and it turns into the cutest animal party 🥰 this one was simple and can also be done with colored pencils or another medium. Try it for yourself!! #watercolordaily #diyinspiration #cardmaking #birthdaycard #creativelife by @mashashobbycorner
Day 6/30 of using my watercolors everyday! Used a bigger brush for the pink swooshes and it was easier than expected! Didn't really have a plan for this one but that was the point. I could just try some different colors, brushes and doodles without the fear of ruining what I already had 💫 #watercolordaily #watercolor #painting #diyinspiration #creativity by @mashashobbycorner
It's 🎁-time! Save for when you sit down to make your holiday cards ✉️ I really enjoyed the gift theme, but added a sled this time. I painted the bows, but you can easily replace this with fineliner or gold pen (have to score one of those soon!). Have you started making your cards yet? Some tips 🎀: ✨️ Paint the squares in some festive colors, but water it down slightly so your bows will pop later! ✨️ The sled can look any way you like, I used dark brown and chose a simple shape ✨️ Use either pen or paint to make a + on each square, finishing off with a bow. For the top gift, you can also put the bow on top! Happy painting 🥰🎄! . . . . . #watercolorchristmas #christmascardideas #watercolortutorial #handmadechristmas #diychristmascards watercolor christmas cards, christmas watercolor tutorial, DIY christmas cards, handmade christmas cards, easy watercolor painting, christmas card ideas, watercolor painting tutorial, christmas painting ideas, festive watercolor art, holiday card making, watercolor christmas tree, watercolor wreath tutorial, christmas art inspiration, easy christmas painting, watercolor illustration, cozy christmas crafts, handmade holiday cards, watercolor ornaments, DIY holiday cards, christmas card tutorial by @mashashobbycorner
Tips & tricks for this card in caption below 💫 I really like using items I have laying around as tools for painting, like the inside of my washi tapes for the bigger ornaments. This simple but cute watercolor card can be adjusted to any style you like! Some tips 🎄🎀: ✨️ For the ornaments with multiple colors, I like wetting the paper slightly before adding color so it blends nicely ✨️ Eyeball the placement of the ornaments such that they hang somewhat evenly spread out ✨️ Trace part of or the whole ornaments with fineliner and add details to the golden attachment Have you started your holiday cards yet 🎁? . . . . . #watercolorchristmas #christmascardideas #watercolortutorial #handmadechristmas #diychristmascards watercolor christmas cards, christmas watercolor tutorial, DIY christmas cards, handmade christmas cards, easy watercolor painting, christmas card ideas, watercolor painting tutorial, christmas painting ideas, festive watercolor art, holiday card making, watercolor christmas tree, watercolor wreath tutorial, christmas art inspiration, easy christmas painting, watercolor illustration, cozy christmas crafts, handmade holiday cards, watercolor ornaments, DIY holiday cards, christmas card tutorial by @mashashobbycorner
It isn't going to get easier than this 🎄! I'm always on the hunt for easy ways to make beautiful cards, and this trick with tape was perfect! Some tips & tricks 🎨: ✨️ I made a pencil dot in the upper center of my card and then alight the tape exactly next to it so the triangle is nicely centered ✨️ Wet the triangle slightly with only water, then come in with your colors and blend with a watery brush where the colors come together ✨️ Let completely dry before coming in with pen (or more paint) for the stem, star, lights and other details you like! ✨️ For the added border, keep switching colors while slightly wet such that the colors blend nicely Have a great weekend 💛! . . . . #watercolorchristmas #christmascardideas #watercolortutorial #handmadechristmas #diychristmascards watercolor christmas cards, christmas watercolor tutorial, DIY christmas cards, handmade christmas cards, easy watercolor painting, christmas card ideas, watercolor painting tutorial, christmas painting ideas, festive watercolor art, holiday card making, watercolor christmas tree, watercolor wreath tutorial, christmas art inspiration, easy christmas painting, watercolor illustration, cozy christmas crafts, handmade holiday cards, watercolor ornaments, DIY holiday cards, christmas card tutorial by @mashashobbycorner
Time for some sweet treat 🍩! A pink glazed donut is about as classic as they come, and with the sprinkles on top it's a fun and easy birthday card 🎉 Some tips for painting: ✨️ Use a glass for the outer ring, brush the glass rim with paint and press down on the paper ✨️ Get some light brown all around the rim and brush inwards ✨️ Use any kind of item for the donut hole. I traced the cap of some Pritt, but can be anything ✨️ Make sure the brown is dry before putting pink (or another fun color!) over it, creating a sharp outline of the glaze. It doesn't have to be perfectly round! ✨️ Let dry completely, then go in with fun colors to create dots or lines for sprinkles! . . . . . #watercolor #diyinspiration #watercolortutorial #cardmaking #birthdaycard aquarel, watercolor, watercolor painting, watercolor cards, watercolor cardmaking, watercolor tutorial, watercolor techniques, handmade cards, cardmaking ideas, DIY cards, cardmaking inspiration, creativity, birthday card, diy inspiration, mixed media by @mashashobbycorner
If you're looking for easy cards to make for the holidays, you've come to the right place ✉️🎀 Technically it's still October, but ACTUALLY the holiday season is upon us 🎄 But no real worries, there's still plenty of time to start making your cards this year! This string of lights becomes very cute very quickly, with these tips: ✨️ You can paint the string or use a pen (pen would be easier), make sure it has plenty of loops and bends ✨️ Whenever the string bends outward, paint or draw a square, this is where the lightbulbs will be ✨️ Start with watered down colors to create the shadows. Mine could've been even further away from the string ✨️ Let the shadows dry!! Then come in with thick colors and paint the bulbs. I left a slight slit in each bulb to create some depth ✨️ Add details or text with a pen and you're done! Happy painting 💛🎨!! . . . . . #watercolorchristmas #christmascardideas #watercolortutorial #handmadechristmas #diychristmascards watercolor christmas cards, christmas watercolor tutorial, DIY christmas cards, handmade christmas cards, easy watercolor painting, christmas card ideas, watercolor painting tutorial, christmas painting ideas, festive watercolor art, holiday card making, watercolor christmas tree, watercolor wreath tutorial, christmas art inspiration, easy christmas painting, watercolor illustration, cozy christmas crafts, handmade holiday cards, watercolor ornaments, DIY holiday cards, christmas card tutorial by @mashashobbycorner

This super easy card can be done in no-time 🎉! Sometimes you just need a quick foolproof card to whip out when time is against you. This is it! ✨️ Alternate between colors instead of going from left to right, so paint can dry in between and there's less thinking involved while spreading out your colors 🌈 ✨️ Make them straight, wonky, falling over, touch, anything! Use any colors or color schemes you prefer. ✨️ Use either yellow watercolor paint or a pen to draw the flames! That's it! Happy painting 🎨☺️! . . . . . #watercolor #diyinspiration #watercolortutorial #cardmaking #birthdaycard aquarel, watercolor, watercolor painting, watercolor cards, watercolor cardmaking, watercolor tutorial, watercolor techniques, handmade cards, cardmaking ideas, DIY cards, cardmaking inspiration, creativity, birthday card, diy inspiration, mixed media by @mashashobbycorner
Colder days are coming 🧣❄️ Since there seem to be a lot of people already in the holiday spirit, another quick and easy card to make for the upcoming festive season 💫 Some tips and tricks for these cute hats: ✨️ Each hat consists of the body, which is a filled upside U, a rectangle below it and a fluffy circle on top. Mix and match with colors! ✨️ After letting it dry, there's countless variations you can do for patterns on the hats! ✨️ For the border, switch colors while the line is still wet, overlapping a bit before continuing on to blend the colors nicely 🌈 Happy painting 🎨! . . . . . #watercolorcards #happyholidays #holidaycardideas #watercolortutorial #handmadeholidaycards watercolor holiday card, happy holidays card, watercolor card tutorial, DIY holiday cards, handmade holiday cards, easy watercolor painting, holiday card ideas, watercolor greeting card, Christmas card tutorial, beginner watercolor tutorial, festive watercolor art, handmade greeting cards, holiday painting ideas, easy holiday crafts, watercolor lettering, happy holidays painting, DIY greeting cards, watercolor illustration, creative holiday ideas, handmade Christmas cards by @mashashobbycorner
It's time 🌲!! Follow along for the first Christmas card this year 🎨 I have to admit, it felt a bit early for my taste to be painting anything Christmas related while it's still OCTOBER. But, you can never be too early when you have a bunch of homemade cards to make ✉️ I'm also genuinly curious about engagement for Chrismas related content right now! Anyway, my top tips for this veryyy easy card: ✨️ Start with some washi tape and tear it lenghtwise. Tape them teared side up, neat side down. ✨️ Paint each of your layers by starting slightly narrower than the one above and flaring out ✨️ For this one, I kent it rather simple but you can go nuts decorating the tree, even adding strings with pen Are you already planning anything for the Christmas season 🎁?? . . . . . #watercolorchristmas #christmascardideas #watercolortutorial #handmadechristmas #diychristmascards watercolor christmas cards, christmas watercolor tutorial, DIY christmas cards, handmade christmas cards, easy watercolor painting, christmas card ideas, watercolor painting tutorial, christmas painting ideas, festive watercolor art, holiday card making, watercolor christmas tree, watercolor wreath tutorial, christmas art inspiration, easy christmas painting, watercolor illustration, cozy christmas crafts, handmade holiday cards, watercolor ornaments, DIY holiday cards, christmas card tutorial by @mashashobbycorner
