B I R T H D A Y S A R E M E A N T T O C E L E B R A T E 🎂The past year has truly been one of the toughest of my life, but I can honestly say I feel like I’ve leveled up and grown so much from it. Last week I forgot to take a lot of photos, but the memories will live on. On my birthday, The Atlanta Opera Chorus got to perform on stage at the FIFA Fan Festival on stage, directly after Ludacris! I also got to share a special dinner with friends at La Grotta. Followed by a large crowd of some of my favorite faces showing up to celebrate at the Piano Bar at Campagnolo in Midtown. Thank you to everyone special in my life. Thank you to those who choose to show up for me each day. Sometimes you have to take a big step back in life, but it has also reminded me that you simply can’t do it without those you love supporting you, and believing in you. T U R A N D O T 🥷This was quite the production this season. Life has been a lot and I’m just now catching up on posts. These costumes were hot, tough to breathe in, and even more challenging to see your peripheral while singing and moving around on stage. But we still had fun. I originally turned this production down, but I am thankful for the @theatlantaopera for offering it to me again when they lost some singers. Bring in this reminded me how much I absolutely LOVE this opera. It’s truly amongst the best, and is heavily involved with the @themightyatlantaoperachorus 📸Rafterman by @maskalicious

I forgot to share my healing process from a few months ago. As you remember I was in a scooter accident last October, fracturing my elbow and busting open my face. I had to have it sutured up in the ER. I am good with my skincare, but I mostly used @biopelleskin Tensage 40 Daily Serum every day. Yesterday I had the opportunity to celebrate one of the forming mentors in my life as she moves into retirement🥂. There are truly some lasting friendships in life, and Dr. Candance Kimbrough-Green is certainly one of those. While some years we only hear from each other occasionally we’ve always remained connected. It’s always such a joy to see her and hear that wonderful laugh.
