Uprising Fest...you have my heart 🫀

I already did my big, sappy thank you post, so I'll keep this brief, but my sincerest gratitude goes out to the friends, family, & new friends who came out to Uprising fest this year to show your support. Without you, we wouldn't be able to do what we do.

See you next year 😘

@sfuf_events

P.S. the impeccable camera work & video editing by the unimitable @samablam 📸🎥 much love to you my soul brotha! taken in Franniland ~ Mother Earths Pocket by @maslow_makes

🚨 RAISE THE ALARM 🚨

This will mark my first post EVER on Instagram.

People that know me know that's kind of a big deal for me. I've never had an Instagram, I'm not a big social media person, & I'm just plain bad at putting myself out there.

But this is a new year. This is the year I change that.

When I was younger, I used to draw OBSESSIVELY. I loved drawing, loved cartoons, loved stories, loved music. I loved art in general.

But as I got older and life got busier, I drew less and less. My attempts to make music became fewer and farther between. I stopped writing. I got caught up with sports, social life, work, college...the usual.

But--also as I got older--I realized how important it was for me to participate in the art I was consuming. To give back to the community that inspired me so constantly.

The photo in this post is something I drew/digitally painted in Procreate from early last year. It's the first thing I've made in a long, long time, that I felt somewhat proud of. I named in "Whirlpool"

And--to me--it symbolizes my rebirth. It symbolizes me getting back into the game. I'm done getting trapped in the whirlpool of my own mind.

I'm ready. I'm making art, I'm making music, I'm DJ-ing for crowds. I'm ready to start sharing my perspective with the world again.

More coming soon 😉

And keep your eyes on February 17th! 👀 👀 by @maslow_makes

Hailing from the PNW, Maslow seeks to create a unique musical experience by weaving together genres all across the electronic music landscape in a cohesive way. While he places an emphasis on bass music, he incorporates house, psytrance, UKG, & more in his performances. He's also known for arranging expansive ambient/downtempo sets whenever he gets the opportunity.

Don't miss out on the magic of Maslow on June 28th at @blueroombham 💫

🚨🚨 NEW MASLOW SET INCOMING 🚨🚨

This unofficial LSZEE pre-party is a double-header event with daytime vibes & night time ragin' complete with 2 stages of musical madness at The Blind Raven in Seattle!

Daytime vibes go from 2pm to 8pm for Chrysalis where trippy bass music will play on the outside stage (obvi where I'll be 😉 at 6pm 👀) & 4-on-the-floor beats will drive the inside stage.

Then at 8pm, Chrysalis metamorphosizes into the Bass Bastards event with the inside stage switching to bass music while the outside stage morphs into house & techno until 2am.

Use code "MASLOW" at the link on @earlynightrecords page to support ya boy & get your tickets today! Tickets will give you access to both events!

& shout out the dawgs @deucetriplesixma & @gabe.the.babe.music for offering this awesome opportunity for me! taken in Blind Raven BBQ by @maslow_makes
