For a 7th grader standing 5'8" and weighing 190 pounds, a 5.38-second 5-10-5 (Pro Agility Shuttle) is a solid, very respectable baseline.

While a 5.38 isn't blazing fast in absolute terms, context is everything in sports performance. When factoring in age, physical maturity, and frame size, here is a realistic breakdown of why that time holds great promise and what it means for athletic development.

The 5-10-5 shuttle is a pure test of lateral quickness, deceleration, body control, and explosive re-acceleration.

Middle School Power/Big Frame (170–200+ lbs)5.30 – 5.80 seconds

At 190 pounds, hitting 5.38 puts the him right at the top end of the average range for bigger, powerful middle school athletes, outperforming many peers of similar size.

Emotionally Humbled I say this, you were feeling down and discouraged coming into this Baseball Season putting yourself down thinking you were No longer good enough ,
When everyone else clearly sees and knows what you are capable of.

As always like in any Sport you play, you're looked at as a Different Breed, a piece to the puzzle of what people see in You & through you.
#Football #Baseball #Basketball your Coaches Love You Kid ...

I stopped today and looked and said, "How is it possible that on the 2 days of your debut with both these two different baseball teams on 2 different days, Back to Back
you made the same exact plays in Sync..

🙏🏽 God did that through you for you Son, He Lifted You
Enough to Give you that Boost to Acknowledge that you got it, you just have to believe in yourself have #Faith & apply what he has Blessed you with and what your Coaches do to develop
The Beast in You Athletically and above All this
*You're a Straight A Student

You're Gods Son, Mason you are Special & God Advocates for you in many ways..
💥 You've seen it at Church
💥 In School
💥 In Sports

The Signs are all there, you just have to look with your Eyes & Heart Wide Open, Let Your Soul Take the Wheel when you Talk to God ..
🙏🏽 🎓🥇 🏀 ⚾ 🏈

Moving up to the 60/90 field for fall ball at 13 is definitely a different ballgame. Everything feels bigger, and honestly, I didn’t expect to be sniffing a home run anytime soon on a full-size diamond.
Coming off the bat with enough power to target the left fence at Larry Doby Field in Paterson is Serious

That made last night wild. I Crushed one out to left at the Larry Dolby Field in Paterson.

It hit the fence, just inches away from clearing it.
I Might have to count that one as an Honorary ALMOST 1st Homerun!

But not just Yet Unfortunately.
💥 Bigger field, bigger swings. 💣⚾️💪
My 1st HomeRun on This Field is Brewing..

Mason G 8th Grade
c/o 2031

Play & Dominate both sides of the Gridiron.
The War in the Trenches are won in the Trenches , I’m bringing High-Energy on every single Snap O-Line or D-Line.

1st Scrimmage of the season in the books, and the off-season work is already showing up big on film. Faster off the ball, heavier hands, and a motor that doesn't quit. But I’m far from satisfied there’s still plenty of work to do and higher levels to reach.

Game 1 is locked in for September 12.

💥 To all the Elite Private High School Coaches and Prep Programs Searching for a Two-way Lineman who leads by work ethic and sets the tone in the trenches: DM is open.
Film Drops as We Go 💨 . 🏈

FOOTBALL 🏈 SEASON is BACK
but let me tell you about me & MY Tackle Teammates playing flag football for the first time ever..

💥 I CAME OUT THE TRENCHES
THE SHACKLES CAME OFF .

Imagine being a 5'8 230 lb Defensive Lineman {12 yrsOld at the time}
Snapping the ball then running out for the pass 🏈 and you see a Tank Sprinting full speed right down the seam at You.
No blocking. No double teams
Just straight-up Big Body Route Running.

I was out there running routes like a prime tight end with the turning radius of an 18 wheeler, and they couldn't do a single thing about it.

BIG HANDS 🤲 , crisp cuts, and unstoppable momentum. Seeing a lineman haul in a pass over the middle is the single most terrifying sight a flag football defender can experience they didn't know whether to pull the flag or just call their mom.

Plus I was still adapting to not TRUCKING THEM, which I wanted to.
