Wrapping up my time here in Alaska. By far the best place I've ever been, and would stay if I could, but Uncle Sam is bringing the Jersey Kid back to the Garden State for a little while. My free trial as 1SG has come to an end and I couldn't be happier to pass the title of C7 to another Jumpmaster and NCO who truly loves Alaska as much as I do. Counting down the days until I can return to the Last Frontier... by @mason.hunter91

Life update.
My time with the Arctic Rhinos and Baker Company came to an end as I assumed Responsibility as First Sergeant of Charlie Company. The guys came through one last time with the dopest plaque! We found this Moose Skull on our last trip North together and it made its way back and now onto my wall.
The memories I share with these men will be some of my proudest, from back to back Top Platoon to Thai Food on a frozen Drop Zone to walking 26 miles through the mountains of Alaska. I look forward to watching these men grow and lead, and I hope I have been part of that growth. by @mason.hunter91

3Gs official Top Platoon for OP GTII. Honored to work with these men the last 6 months and put the massive growth of expertise and professionalism on display for the rest of the Battalion to see. You should rest easy knowing that there are Great Americans, like these hitters, working every day to master the skills necessary to fight in the Arctic, should that day ever come. 🤙 by @mason.hunter91

Pretty rough hike to go straight through, but we still got it done 🤙. For my Army buddies, this is your sign to take the orders to JBER. taken in Raven Glacier, Crow Pass, Ak by @mason.hunter91

Embracing the Alaskan experiences with my little dude. Today he progressed from a toy board to an actual Burton setup and he absolutely crushed it. 🤙
Photo creds go to @lovelyjamie___ who is always there to document these experiences! by @mason.hunter91

I was extremely nervous coming to this course with no fighting background other than Army Combatives. Absolutely humbled to be surrounded by some of the hardest people I have ever met and to be selected as the Honor Grad amongst them will always be one of my proudest accomplishments. 🤙 by @mason.hunter91

925 Days, 30 Months, 2.5 Years
Today marks my final day on the trail.
Somehow I made it to the end Scot free.
Humbled by the opportunity to work with some of the best.
The true praise however goes to @lovelyjamie___ for holding down the house and kids with all the late nights and early mornings. by @mason.hunter91
