Last night, we turned our apartment into a speakeasy! 🥂

Some of my favorite things to make are experiences for others & this was a really fun one ☺️

One of my favorite handmade items for the evening were matchbooks guests could take home! Logos were printed on sticker paper and attached to plain matchbooks. Some other homemade elements were menus, signage, and of course all of the drinks! ✨🍸

Very excited to share my latest sewing project!
🧵💼✨ Inspired by the baggu cloud bag, I used a vintage seersucker fabric quilted with a low loft cotton to create my new school/work bag. I added a computer pocket and phone pocket inside and an elastic water bottle bottle pocket outside for more utility. This was a super fun chance to create my own pattern after referencing a few online. The @corefabrics bowler bag video tutorial helped me get an idea of what order to sew everything in to get the desired end product! 🤗 by @mason.madethis

espresso does taste better when the espresso machine is covered in tiny magnets!! ☕️🎨✨mini magnet making with roommates & friends using oven bake clay, acrylic paint + a high gloss finish superglued onto small magnets 🧲 running to the craft store asap to get more clay 🏃‍♂️ by @mason.madethis

My most ambitious cake thus far! ⭐️🌙🔆This 4 layer vegan chocolate cake was a chance to experiment with nesting cakes, edible glitter paint, and making chocolate molds 🎂 I love any occasion that involves a cake because I get to do projects like this !! 💫✨ by @mason.madethis

trader joe’s bag becomes …a trader joe’s bag ! 🎣🧵
Just completed this sewing project using @bfpatterns a canvas trader joe’s bag for the exterior, waterproof fabric & interfacing for the interior, and a repurposed adjustable strap from an old bag 🪡 excited to have a specific place to share projects & things, enjoy! ⭐️ by @mason.madethis
