Track 5: A Perfect Night

It’s easy to distract myself from all the pain
Inject my wound with a little shame
It makes for a perfect night

Disregard all your thoughts
Let me in, let ‘em rot
Your world is mine now

Cuz I could be your one and only
I can be your taste of honey
Don’t you dare plan on leaving me
With my love there’s no escaping

Doesn’t matter what you want
You’ll do as I say
You’re gonna bow down, wash my feet
Kiss me everywhere I need
Doesn’t matter if you say no

What do you think you’re doing?
Welcome to my home you’re staying
Better not plan on leaving me
With my love there’s no escaping

What a sec where ya going?
All I said has no meaning
Who will I be when you’re gone?
You better turn around

Concert Alert 10-5 @woodlawntheatrebham open solo for @masonfthomas Album Release Show! It’s a Monday and his band is on tour. It means a lot to him and me personally if you come out and attend this event. I have a couple new songs and different interpretations of ones that you don’t hear with my full Band. @guthrie_echoes taken in Woodlawn Theatre Birmingham by @masonfthomas
