Masseria Pavone, a place suspended in time, where traces of a bucolic past blend with modern hospitality.
This is Puglia at its most authentic

Emerging between the 16th and 18th centuries, these fortified farmsteads were far more than simple houses—they were self-sufficient micro-worlds.
Built with thick limestone walls and high-walled courtyards, they sheltered farmers, livestock, and precious harvests from pirates and brigands.
They were the center of Puglian life, where olive oil was pressed, wine was fermented, and the rhythm of the seasons dictated each day.
High on a hill in the heart of Valle d'Itria, Masseria Pavone stands as a rare architectural witness to this history. Its story unfolds through its unique structure: a grand manor house surrounded by eighteen authentic 16th-century trulli—one of the most significant historical clusters in the region.

In the 2000s, the Pavone family began the meticulous restoration that transformed this sanctuary of stone into the haven it is today, ensuring its history remains alive for generations to come.
