dancefloor 2026 remixes 💿 #08 - @luca__piermattei & @massprod99 remix sometimes a connection starts on a dancefloor and finds its way back into the studio years later. I met luca at a @wax4breakfast_ party near Rimini, we immediately got along and we’ve stayed in touch ever since. having him and mass prod reinterpret dancefloor together was a real pleasure. “when Martino and I started working on the remix, we wanted to keep the elements that made dancefloor immediately recognizable. we kept the vocal and parts of the main synth, then reworked them through our own perspective. around those elements, we built a new groove, added new sounds and a different dynamic, looking for the right balance between the identity of the original and our own musical language. when stefano asked me to work on the remix, i was really happy. beyond being a very talented artist, he’s someone i’ve always found genuine and generous, and this was a great opportunity to bring our own sensitivity into one of his tracks while keeping its spirit alive.” - @luca__piermattei & @massprod99 listen now on all platforms #dancefloor2026 #stylophonic #remixes taken in Milan, Italy by @massprod99

Following up on the hidden wonder of Ellis Swan’s twilight folk-noir masterpiece 3 AM (Quindi Records, 2022), Altrimenti commissions three bold remixes with a wayward slantto rival Swan’s own outsider status. . Italian-in-New York Madteo leads the charge with his unmistakable, artfully smudged style, roughly chopping up ‘Down By The Reservoir’ and thumping it into a claustrophobic house abstraction. . Berlin-based Simone (aka Banishsh / Meze) similarly offers a rugged rhythm section as a framework for scattered shards of Swan’s ‘Chinatown’, tunnelling into gritty broken techno with a bass-heavy, UK flavour in the process. . On the B side, seasoned Italo american house maverick Mass Prod serves up a purring, psychedelic synth-and-breaks roller that keeps the essence of ‘Evening Sun’ intact as it tips its hat to maximal 90s big beat, maintaining an undercurrent of surrealism while keeping one eye fixed on festival season. .
