Cars & costumes is back!!! We are excited to announce our annual event with UC3 - United Car Club CT is moving to Thompson Speedway on Sunday, October 29th, 2023. This year we collaborate with our good friends from MassTuning to bring a full day of HPDE and drifting to the annual car show!! Follow UC3 for information regarding entry to the show and MassTuning for entry in the track event. Drifting is invite only but is open to spectators all day. There will be food trucks, vendors and tons of fun!! Mark your calendar! by @masstuning

Check out this video of a previous land speed event at Loring AFB: youtu.be/a2ooUHW7lyA A day of high performance driving at the longest asphalt land speed surface available in the world at almost 3 miles! Drive your fastest runs safely and legally for official speed printouts. Any and all expenses will still be less than one ticket and insurance surcharges! This event is open to all vehicles from beginners in regular street cars to professionals in built race cars. Spectators are welcome. The event will be entirely outdoors. Prepare for any possible weather conditions. Onsite camping is free. Most hotels are in the neighboring towns of Caribou and Presque Isle. Fees: Spectators: FREE (Donations encouraged!) Passengers: $40 (register at the event) Military Discount Registration: $99 (must provide ID at check-in) Early Registration: $149 (for the first 22 registrations!) No timed racing, no trophies. Simply a focus on safety and fun on a legal road course. This track day is open to all including novices in regular street cars. Registered drivers will have SIX 20min sessions for 2 hours of seat time! Instructors will be available. Beginners with limited to no track experience are given priority for instruction. The event is rain or shine and will be entirely outdoors. Prepare for any possible weather conditions. Onsite camping is free but anyone interested must arrive between 7pm and 9pm. Guests are welcome. There are no food concessions onsite so be prepared for alternative plans. Drink water prior to the event and stay hydrated.
