For me, using the fetoscope means slowing my own heart to listen to baby’s heart. It takes a calm spirit.

Such a beautiful moment today ❤️ by @master_nurturer_

Good morning community! 🥶 It’s that time for colder and darker mornings. Give grace to community workers who spend time going to and fro to clients homes, agencies and birth spaces. Allow time for safe arrivals.

Community workers, I suggest giving time frames for arrivals instead of exact times to ease the worry. Telehealth visits are also common when conditions aren’t suitable for travel.

For those who may be new here, I’m a licensed midwife in SC offering at home prenatal care, non diagnostic ultrasound, herbalism, home birth services and educated postpartum care. I visit my clients at their homes 100% of the time. My practice priorities rural, low resource and midwifery deserted areas.

Book your midwife (any midwife) as early as you can. Many of us are low volume and traveling up to 2hrs from our homes.

🚨 My practice is at capacity for births and accepting clients with June due dates. (some exceptions apply). Be safe! #scmidwives by @master_nurturer_

I grew my first bouquet and it was totally unintentional, but I let the vision just guide me. I’m so glad that life is more settled and I can tend to growing things we love. 💕 #wildflowers #medicinal by @master_nurturer_

I completed my first year as instructor with A Wombman’s Way midwifery training program! I graduated in 2023 from the program and somehow Sakina O’Uhuru trusted me with her students 😂

This cohort consist of intelligent midwives and I’m blessed to have been a part of their journey. Graduation in a few weeks 🎉♥️

Oh, and we are working towards MEAC accreditation 🔥

I was invited to teach 2026, so I’ll see you in the class room. Traditional, skilled, cultural and community!
