Here we have a example of how a fitting can look like with me as a tailor. My client wished for a three piece suit and in the first fitting we can see what adjustments might need to be made. We check the balance and how all clothes fit etc. A fitting also gives a good sense of the general impression and a great over view.

Här har vi ett exempel på hur en provning kan se ut med mig som skräddare. Min kund önskade en tredelad kostym och här har vi första provningen där vi kollar balans och hur allt sitter, vilka ändringar/justeringar som kan behövas göras etc. Provningen ger även en väldigt bra helhetsbild.

An update. Currently I am doing my internship at the Royal Dramatical Theater in Stockholm and boy do we have things to make! Unfortunately I can’t show anybody it until the production is done and the theater piece is up and going. In the mean time I’ll keep posting the clients three pice suite that I worked so hard for.

This jacket have been made in the popular brown wool flannel that my clients like a lot (have tailored a few garments in this lovely flannel by now). I just love to see how things evolve to become Theos final version. Stay tuned! by @masterimocklin

The foundation work for a suit is something that I enjoy more than some other might do. But to me it lays the building frame for the end result. It is something I take great pride in as it’s essential for the final product in my opinion.

Underarbete är för en kavaj eller kostym är något som jag tycker extra om att göra. Det ger mig känslan att man bygger upp en ordentlig grund som slutresultatet ska stå på. Underarbete tar jag stor stolthet i att utföra och är viktigt och nödvändigt för slutprodukten, enligt min åsikt.

My next client places a three piece suite order. He was impressed by my last suit jacket that he wanted an entire three piece suit made in the same shell fabric but different lining. So here you see the pattern I’ve made and chalked out on the cloth. Let the project begin!

Min näste kund la en beställning på en tredelad kostym. Han var så imponerad av den förra kavajen jag gjorde att han ville få en hel kostym uppsydd i samma ytatyg men med annat foder. Redo, start!

The Final result of a suit jacket that was made for a client. The client wished for piped lining so that was fun to do as a special accent for him.

Slutresultatet av denna kavaj är här. Kunde önskade sig passpoalerat foder så det blev en rolig detalj att adderas.

Now it’s not far from being completed as you all can see. This is somewhat of what the final product will be. My client is pleased with the fittings and is very excited indeed!

Inte långt kvar när man ser vart man är i processen. Detta blir något så när slutprodukten. Kunden är nöjd med sina provningen och väldigt exalterad kan man väll säga.

Here in this part of the process you can see me working the decorative piece around the inner pocket along with the attachment of the collar and finishing up the sleeves with the sleeve lining. I’m so proud of this journey and that I can make a bespoke suite. How wild isn’t that!?

I denna del av prosessen kan man se mig göra det smyckade runt innerfickorna, fästandet av kragen samt göra klart ärmarna med dess är foder. Jag är så tacksam att jag är på denna resa och att jag lärt mig göra en typ av bespoke kavaj. Helt galet häftigt!

Here are some pictures of the working prosess with the canvassing and also me sewing down the hem. I just love the ground/foundation work in a suit jacket. No one will see the insides but it sets the tone for the end result in my opinion.

Här har ni lite bilder på tagel och vattulinsrbetet samt när jag syr fållen på denna kavaj. Jag älskar verkligen underarbete! Det är ingen som kommer se det, men det hjälper att sätta tonen på slutprodukten enligt min åsikt.

Lots have been going on lately. I have had a new client at school so a new suit jacket is made and here you can see pictures of the progress in the making of it. This time I used a lovely brown wool flannel.

And here we have the finished result of the 1770’s jacket tailored for me. Wow! This jacket turned out so nicely and I am so proud of it. Big thanks to @mgnagydesign for teaching me so well at CW and pushing me in the right directions.
