This past year:

I watched a lot.
I’ve felt a lot.
I’ve shifted a lot.
I’ve witnessed a lot.

But I never breathed any of it out.

I’ve smelled a lot,
thought a lot,
spent a lot
but never called it out.

I have seen life move in ways I’ve never thought I could see past.

So In return, It had come to pass.

I’ve asked myself
are these moments/memories
anchoring me towards the sky
or
a bird just passing the time?

Seeking directions
to hiding in the destination
from those who oppose their own will for life.

In those movements
I could see myself tangoing with the devil
to the tune of it takes two.

Meanwhile God is keeping the tempo.

Keeping watch.

All this takes time.
Life moves on according to pace.
So I’ll just be a bird circling through patience.

I hope to whoever is reading this, that the yearn for life never departs from your heart body and soul. And that your life moves according to your pace,
