More than a competition, it's a celebration of versatility, passion, and the ocean lifestyle that has made Cabarete a global watersports destination.

Join us September 16–20, 2026, as elite athletes from around the world return to the North Coast of the Dominican Republic to battle wind, waves, and each other in the Caribbean's most complete ocean challenge.

🇩🇪🌊 Una noche para celebrar el océano, la amistad y el intercambio entre culturas.

Desde Master of the Ocean queremos agradecer profundamente a la Embajada de Alemania en Santo Domingo y a nuestra Embajadora, Maike Friedrichsen, por su cálido apoyo y por recibirnos en una velada tan especial durante nuestra 21.ª edición.

El cóctel en Natura Cabana fue mucho más que una celebración: fue un hermoso punto de encuentro entre atletas, organizadores, autoridades, invitados y amigos unidos por una misma pasión: el océano y las comunidades que lo rodean.

Gracias por creer en el espíritu de Master of the Ocean y por apoyar iniciativas que conectan a República Dominicana y Alemania a través del deporte, la cultura, la naturaleza y el intercambio humano.

The waves weren’t the biggest and the wind wasn’t very strong in the warm temperatures of the Dominican Republic.
That’s why we’re even more thankful that we could use a fast freewave board from @windfluechter_surfboards
All boards are handmade and produced in Germany.
For the competition, it was the perfect solution, and we had so much fun riding it!

El sábado 19 de septiembre, durante nuestro Community Day de @masteroftheocean , compartimos con niños de diferentes fundaciones y organizaciones a través de charlas, actividades y experiencias alrededor del mar y su cuidado.

Entre ellas, tuvimos el honor de contar con la participación de POLITUR, quienes ofrecieron una charla a los niños y realizaron una demostración de salvamento en la playa, dirigida por @happydolphinsdr , sus intructores @carlos_jambrina y @leoniperthold , además de los socorristas de la fundación hermana @inspire.dr.

Una experiencia educativa para aprender a disfrutar del océano de forma segura y responsable 🌊
