My first solo exhibition is on display in @armsaroundasd an award-winning nonprofit located in Asheville NC at the Asheville Mall!

More information to be posted soon on my website about this new series of paintings and all the research and personal experiences that led to their creation, what matters most is just that they tell a very necessary story about temporary disability and healing.

Huge thank you to Stephanie @yonsei.studio for being my travel buddy to help get this set up, I couldn't have done it without you! Another big thank you goes out to @fsuart and all the lovely people there that have supported me as this came together! by @masters.practice

My Friend's Couch

Joshua Masters, Porcelain and Cobalt Oxide Wash 2025

"My Couch is too clean.

I want to share my couch with so many friends that it is saggy and stained.

I want armrests and cushions that remember the weight of our friendship.

I want to have crumbsto clean out of crevices and hair to pull from it's seat.

I want a couch that screams "used" because it would mean that the marks of my friendship are unmistakably and perfectly human." by @masters.practice

SAP Survey, 2026, Porcelain, Glaze, decal, tumblers, water, dye

This is a work in progress, I'm excited about it though.

Talking about incontinence in art has not been an easy choice, however with anonymous surveys ive gathered some thoughts to share that range from opinions on diaper use to effects on relationships, personal affirmations, ABDL community support, self image and more. I want to overlap this series with conversations on inclusion and exclusion in queer spaces, abelism, stigma, radical empathy/acceptance, critical disability theory, etc. and develop this into a larger and more interactive piece. Its not there yet though. by @masters.practice

Finished another mural in under a week! You can find this mural facing Cascades Park on the @thefuzzypineapple 😁 it is 11 x 24' and right in the middle of downtown Tallahassee!

The start of a new series on exhibit @workingmethodcontemporary

Thinking about peace and serenity, personal time and time with nature. Lavender is main stay and comfort for me, and I don't think I'll ever get away from dappled sunlight and shadows in the woods.

Thank you to my lovely model for this silhouette @foxcarlsonart a great friend and inspiration. by @masters.practice
