#FlashBackFriday 💥

Fun Fact: I have been preaching the gospel of shred ever since I was just a 𝙇𝙄𝙇 𝙎𝙃𝙍𝙀𝘿 - 12 years old to be more exact 🤣 Let me explain ….

The guy standing to the left of the Shred Maestro Yngwie Malmsteen was my old next door neighbor - Christian - who use to work logistics for Walgreens liquor departments in South Florida. Christian use to come over our house all the time and I would educate him in all things SHRED - one being the insane fretboard mastery of the Mighty YJM!

Well … one afternoon …. Before we had cutting edge cameras on our cell phones like we have now (😜) - Christian knocks on our door and shows us this Polaroid picture… the Maestro himself stopped by the Miami Shores Walgreens location for some morning spirits and Christian instantly recognized him due to having seen him in the DVD’s we were showing him at our house & and he asked him for a pic! Yngwie also gave Christian his “business card” - which I still have today - but it doesn’t say his phone number or business address (fan mailbox, etc), it just a picture of him SHREDDING🤣🤣

Fast forward a few decades later and I created @mastersofshred - bringing the gospel of shred to the masses one lick at a time 👊😎👍🎸

But in all seriousness …. Yngwie … when are you going to be a guest on our channel? It’s been long overdue, we need the Maestro! 🙌🙌 I want to see Mr. Shred x Yngwie Malmsteen Pages in Time ….. 𝙇𝙀𝙏𝙎 𝙂𝙊! 🎸🎸🎸

Tag Yngwie’s official account if you’d like to see that too! 🎸🎸

Back when guitar ads were THIS cool… 🤘🎸

And yes—@kramerguitarsus actually offered this insanely rare Mick Mars 𝙂𝙄𝙍𝙇𝙎, 𝙂𝙄𝙍𝙇𝙎, 𝙂𝙄𝙍𝙇𝙎 Telecaster in the late ’80s. If you were lucky enough to snag one back then, you’d be sitting on some serious SHRED GOLD today. 💰🔥

These wild graphic Kramers were works of art, with legendary airbrush artist Dennis Kline responsible for some of the era’s most unforgettable designs.

Who out there actually owned—or STILL owns—one of these Mick Mars Kramers? Or another Dennis Kline masterpiece? 👀🎸

🤯 FUN FACT: The Mick Mars model originally cost around $865 back in the 1980s. Adjusted for inflation, that’s roughly $2,500 in today’s money.

And sadly, word on the street is that Mick isn’t interested in seeing this one reissued… 😭

But hey… #OneCanHope 🤞
