History and harbor views — it must’ve been the new international students’ annual trip to The Hub! During their weekend in Boston, students explored the USS Constitution, visited the historic Old State House, dined in the North End, and, of course, took a ride on a duck boat to see the city from a different perspective. by @mastersschool

Congratulations to seniors Christopher Woglom and Emily Kasoff on being named semifinalists in the prestigious National Merit Scholarship Program. These Masters students, representing the top 1% of high school seniors nationwide, now have the opportunity to compete for a share of nearly $24 million in scholarships, awarded to approximately 6,700 students. by @mastersschool

Science hits the high seas 🐟

Upper school students in Marine Biology, Environmental Science: Sustainability and AP Environmental Science classes headed to SoundWaters in Connecticut to dive deeper into their studies.

While at the environmental education organization, students seined in the intertidal zone, collected plankton, and set sail on the Long Island Sound aboard a floating classroom to learn more about the marine life in the sound. Onboard the 80’ schooner, students performed water quality tests and got a better understanding for how the recent rains have changed the nutrient levels of the area. They also trawled to see what organisms exist on the bottom of the sound and were able to hold and examine live horseshoe crabs, squid and flounder. by @mastersschool
