Theyโ€™re the ones standing on the pool deck, rain or shine, helping our members refine their stroke, push their limits, and believe in themselves.

This week (October 5โ€“11) is Coach Appreciation Week, and we want to celebrate the incredible leaders who make our swimming community what it is. Our coaches are the heartbeat of the Masters experience.

To all our coaches: Thank you for your patience, your expertise, and your unwavering belief in our members. You change lives one lap at a time.

At five months pregnant, Michelle Rodrigue, 34, decided to do something bold: compete in her first USMS meet, which just happened to be Summer Nationals.

She earned a medal in the 200 freestyle and swam the 50 freestyle and 100 breaststroke, proving that athletic goals donโ€™t have to pause during pregnancy. Sheโ€™s also excited for her future Masters swimmer.

"She's pretty much swimming in there too," Michelle says. "She's gonna be a breaststroker for sure!" by @mastersswimming
