What better way to celebrate the 12 month calendar/equinox than with some unique, 12”, 12-sided raw, unlathed hihats!!

It’s a red letter day when you can say “ dodecagon” and really mean it. For me, today is that day.

Unique Masterwork 12-sided 12” TURK Style Hand Hammered Masterwork Hihats in perfect condition.

As you can see these beauties are raw, unlathed and heavily Hand-Hammered in the Old World Turkish style.

Weighing 450 over 620 grams, they play like a Thin over a Medium. They’re quick, articulate, responsive, organic, and have a whisper of complexity - but it decays in moments.

Their polygon shape provides a pinch more complexity and trashiness than their circular brethren.

Reverse them for a different tone. Split them up to use as effects crash splashes. They make great stackers.

And that’s the point - experiment. Explore. Enjoy. Never seen them before.

This PAPER THIN massive 4.5” edged 22” sounds like it came right out of 1948. Super Vintage Swish Vibe on this DUO-styled beauty.

The closest thing to this beauty in a modern cymbal was possibly the Zildjian Oriental Classic China in the 22” size. But that hasn’t been made in years, and this cymbal is thinner and much, much more organic and complex - and it’s actually Hand Hammered.

As many of you may know, the Masterwork Thalles Series offers one of the most complex, responsive cymbals out there, and this is a super Wide Lip Custom version. This craftsmanship is one of my favorites - hand hammered and fully lathed circumference with an inner plain that has a Pre-Aged sand blasted style finish.

Stunningly PAPER THIN 1686 gram weight makes this 22” extremely responsive.

HUGE 4.5” flanged edge then beckons for your strike and gives this 22” a tone that modern cymbals lack.

Super Old a school Complex, dark, organic, opens very quickly for a big 22”, extremely responsive at lower volume settings but has no problem cutting - it has a biting quick attack.

Glorious as an alternate Ride - a la Mel Lewis
Very light and airy, exotic riding capabilities. Complex and organic.

Perfect Condition. What BIG china should be, but fortunately aren’t in today’s big box store A Custom world.

All for the price of a regular 17” A Crash.

Here’s a gorgeous Pre-Aged Top with a FULLY LATHED underside, Custom Thin Flat Ride in an incredible 24” size! Imagine such a sentence! Imagine such a cymbal!

This 2 Footer puts the fun in phenomenal.
Heavily Hand Hammered Masterwork 24” Flat Ride in immaculate condition! Nothing like this from a big cymbal company.

Gorgeous craftsmanship. Deep indigo unlathed, brushed finish top side while the underside has a golden full lathe. Hand made - looks it, sounds it.

With a thin weight of only 2456 grams, this bountiful Flat Ride is bendable but still has plenty of tension to yield a solid stick attack on top.

The absence of a bell makes this Unlathed 24” very controlled in both overtones and volume. Terrific, quick stick attack and response.

The lathed underside adds a pinch of warmth and body to this smoky sounding Flat.

Comes to life with the lightest swipe of a stick!

VERY ORGANIC tone. Quick stick attack, light, and complex wash but only for a moment. Organic sticking with a smoky wash.
Extremely crashable - lightening like accents. Especially magical on a 24”.
Great for Very low to medium volume gigs. Incredible under the mic.

Here’s a Unique PAPER THIN Flat Ride PROTOTYPE 19” that has a very light and smooth, subtly smoky controlled tone. No big company makes anything like this. And it’s a sonic steal at only $249.

Beautifully Hand Hammered with a very fine, golden lathe!
Extremely responsive and bendably thin at only 1260 grams.

The absence of a bell makes this Hand Hammered 19” very controlled in both overtones and volume. Terrific, quick stick attack and response.
Quick stick attack, light and smooth tone with a very mellow smoky wash but only for a moment.

Crashable. Very low to medium volume gigs. Incredible under the mic.
No issues. Natural patina built up. Nothing like this beauty.

Let’s say you crash a Zildjian Crash of Doom….and we are all still here. Then what? What’s next?

Behold! This beautiful earthen, multi-colored, factory rippled-edge Ultra Dark, super complex 22” BLANK takes you there! One-beyond-Doom!

Only 1695 grams makes this RAW, unlathed Masterwork MUCH THINNER, much darker, much trashier, and overall DOOMIER than a Zildjian Crash of Doom.

Extremely thin.

About 700 grams lighter than the Doom - it’s easily bendable, the edges are like a Thundersheet, but you can PLAY it. Extremely responsive.

Its raw, unlathed surface gives it a very dry stick attack - perfect as an alternate ride.

One of the darkest, most complex cymbals you will hear. Crashable. Rideable. Perfect for summoning the apocalypse. Oh and outfitted with 3 factory rivets to keep the wash of doom at a subtle glow.

Absolutely beautiful copper, purple, aqua colorings.
And a lot of fun to play!
