Hello! June is here, and so is the sixth cover of my non-existent Japanese magazine “Mastery”.
This time the hero is the wonderful @naked_cat_club

This cover brought me a lot of joy. It feels playful, bright, and full of personality.
And I have to admit — my favorite part was David’s tattoos. They were a real challenge to crochet, but also one of the most rewarding parts of the whole piece.

“Mastery” is my year-long project about people who treat crochet not simply as a craft, but as art and a way of life.
Six covers are finished. Halfway there. by @mastery.nonexistent.covers

Hello my dear ones ))
finally sharing the full process behind Marianna’s cover ✨
this work became very soft and alive for me, full of flowers, tiny details and many hours in the studio 🤍
thank you, dear @heegeldab for becoming part of “Mastery” ))
my project about crochet as art and a way of life 🧶
The project is almost at its halfway point already.
I want to admit that this is a completely non commercial project.
I’m doing it for art, to push the boundaries of crochet, and to deepen my own technique and practice ✨
I would be very happy if you shared this project, gave your thoughts or feedback, or suggested someone who could become the face of future issues.
Right now I’m already working on the sixth cover, and I truly hope you will love it by @mastery.nonexistent.covers
