✨ Oh, what a magical opening night!

We’re still mesmerized by the music from American Landscapes. What a joy it was to be back in the concert hall with our chamber music friends and family, sharing such a beautiful evening together. 🎶

Thank you to Dmitri Atapine, Scott Lee, Masumi Rostad, Hyeyeon Park, Danbi Um, and Chad Hoopes for sharing your beautiful artistry with us!

This week, in #PetrasBookClub… Finding the Mother Tree by @drsuzannesimard

We are reading this as part of my general research for the Conservation Concertos, and specifically in preparation for Arborescence, the viola concerto I’m writing about pernambuco/pau brasil and tree community and networks for @masumiviola 🌳

#FindingTheMotherTree is turning out to be quite the page turner…would you like me to read you all an excerpt?
