We Will Always Love You, Dolly! 💕🦋

While working on my Barn Baby Series, I was inspired to add Dolly Parton. From her endless catalog of love songs to her vibrant personality and infectious laughter, what’s not to love about Dolly?

On top of that, there’s far too many fabulous fashion moments to choose from. Her sequin butterfly gown created by Bob Mackie is my all-time fav! Originally made in 1979 for her televised special, “Dolly and Carol in Nashville”. Of course I had to include her blue eyeshadow, some cheetah ribbon, pink gingham, butterflies and the motto WWDD.

Been volunteering at the Woodbridge Farmstead for 2 months now! While working on the perennial garden, I’m learning a lot about native plants and how to attract more pollinators. The goal is to match the gorgeous Pollinator Pathway. Another highlight is learning more about the Woodbridge Farmstead and how it’s evolved over the years. Still rockin’ out to B’DAY (20th ANNIVERSARY DELUXE EDITION) and I just know @wilcope4 has the album on repeat too! 🐝🐊🎸

Since we’re going down memory lane, here’s some BTS from when I painted Wil back in 2013-2014. Even back in college, I KNEW Beyoncé had to be the main inspiration. There was Beyoncé’s self-titled album, ON THE RUN and Standing on the Sun collab with H&M. What a time!
