Look at this young man, making me work really hard every Saturday

Teaching Henry is such a blessing

When I was learning this exercise from Aquiles Priester and Eloy Casagrande, I never thought I’d be teaching to a 10yo lad
________

Hey! Where’s My Drink Package - The Aristocrats

Once again @marcominnemann giving me lots of groovy headaches trying to understand and play this song. Lots of 5 over 4 or 4 over 5 I guess depending on what you focus on 🥸🤯

Sgt. Rockhopper (song name)is a police penguin whose adventures in Antartica can only be the wildest and he deserves a soundtrack for it.

Music from @thearistocratsband - @marcominnemann makes me work really hard on all of his tracks, maybe one day i’ll learn the entire song 😅

I think this song is in 6/8, but some accents really force me to think in 12/16 sometimes taken in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia by @mat_corsi

[English below] O mundo dá voltas… e hoje eu tô aqui, fazendo o que amo.

Obrigada, obrigada, obrigada. 💛
A vida presta.

🇦🇺
Life goes full circle… and today, I get to do what I love.
Singing forró on the other side of the world, staying rooted in the Northeast of Brazil the place that lives in me and connecting with people who make me feel at home, even when I’m far away.

After the show, I received so many beautiful messages. They reminded me that if I can bring even one minute of joy to someone through my voice, then it’s all worth it.

I’m truly happy when I’m singing and even happier that I get to scream into a mic and no one complains 😂
Thank you, thank you, thank you. 💛
Life is good.

The song in this video is “Roendo Unha”, a classic written by Luiz Gonzaga e Luiz Ramalho. Raw, powerful, and full of heart. taken in Hotel Brunswick by @mat_corsi

Que venham mais encontros como esse!

[En]

Still taking it all in…

This was my first gig in the Northern Rivers, and my debut at the iconic Hotel Brunswick and all I can say is: thank you!

Thank you to the amazing band that brought so much energy to the stage with me, to the event organizers for such a warm and beautiful setup, and to every single person who stopped to listen, danced, smiled, and sent such heartfelt messages.

Sharing a little piece of my Northeastern Brazilian roots so far from home and seeing it embraced like that…this is exactly why I sing. 🌽💛✨

May we keep creating moments like this! taken in Hotel Brunswick by @mat_corsi
