The last few years I’ve spent my daytime hours in the archives of L.A. Louver under the supervision of an amazing team of researchers and archivists. I’ve been documenting art as well as processing this enormous collection of materials that date back to the 70s. Today, we got to announce the donation of our collection to @thehuntingtonlibrary which featured my photography of the original Louver window made by Peter Goulds in 1976, a Duchamp inspired work that’s also behind the name of the gallery. A lot of endings and new beginnings are taking place, but excited to see it culminate in this way!! taken in The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens by @mat_matix_

The last year plus Ive been incredibly lucky to mix songs with @gigi4perez and today we have a full LP out in the world via @islandrecords . Put very briefly, At the Beach in Every Life’ is an emotionally heavy work of layered guitars, vocals and voice memos evoking love, grief, and growth. I’m thankful for @runnner_music bringing me into the fold initially and thankful for the talents of @aidanhobbs who’s both created incredibly rich sonic palettes. Thanks @pj_walshe for the necessary guidance and @masteredbygrover for your audio oversight 🙏🏻🙏🏻 by @mat_matix_

Very proud of @its_daisy_world and so happy to see her debut LP, Toothpick, out in the world today. I rank Daisy and @albertjairogordon very high on my list of people I like to spend long hours in the studio with, and that we certainly did. What a feat of a project!!
