we’re in blackberry season hunnies so this is your sign to make a blackberry syrup to pair with your matcha 🍵💜✨

👩🏽‍🍳 recipe:
2 cups blackberries
1 cup sugar (or honey)
1 cup water
1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, but brightens the flavor)

In a medium saucepan, add blackberries, sugar, water, and lemon juice. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat. Stir occasionally and mash the berries gently with a spoon or potato masher. Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes, until berries are completely softened and the syrup thickens slightly. Pour through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl or jar, pressing down to extract all liquid. Discard the seeds and pulp (or keep it in its up to you). Let cool. Store in a clean jar or bottle in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Game🎾Set🎾Matcha - matcha recipes for Wimbledon tennis szn

Strawberries and Cream Iced Matcha Latte 🍓🍵✨

Syrup:
Add chopped strawberries to a jar and cover with sugar. Put the lid on and leave in the fridge for 12-24 hours. Muddle or blend strawberries depending on your desired consistency.

1) Add strawberries to a glass with ice
2) Pour over your milk of choice
3) Whisk 2-3g matcha with 30ml warm water and pour over
4) Using an electric whisk, whisk 50ml double cream (add sweetener of choice depending on sweetness preference) and pour over
5) Sieve some matcha powder over the top and garnish with strawberries
