Make this trending Strawberry Matcha Latte easily at home!

🍓 5 Strawberries
🍓 Ice
🍓 1 cup milk of choice
🍓 2 tsp Matcha Bloom Purity Powder
🍓 2 oz hot water

1. Cut up the strawberries into small pieces
2. In a glass, add the cut strawberries. Smash lightly until juices run but not so much it becomes too jammy or pureed.
3. Add ice to the glass.
4. Pour in mik.
5. In a separate matcha bowl or cup, whisk together matcha and hot water.
6. Pour the matcha over the milk.
7. Enjoy!

You've probably heard of matcha, but do you know what it tastes like? The number one question we get asked is "how does matcha actually taste?" and we are here to help.✨

Matcha, like most green teas, has an earthy and sort of "grassy" taste, but matcha is very bright with slightly bitter undertones and notes of sweetness and umami. A lot of people fear that matcha is overly bitter or they've had (not so good) matcha once and say it's too bitter and not for them. Ceremonial or high quality matcha does have a bold flavor but good matcha isn't overwhelmingly or unpleasantly bitter. The light bitterness compliments the other flavors in the tea making it a well-rounded and delicious drink. 🍵

We recommend giving matcha a try (or another chance) with some smooth and flavorful ceremonial grade matcha, like our Purity Powder!

While it's designed to be durable, here are some tips for care to keep this beautiful piece a staple in your routine for years to come.

1. After use, gently clean the prongs by hand under running water. Don't use soap as it will strip the natural oils off the bamboo and leave a residue that will alter the flavor of your matcha.

2. Carefully shake off as much water as possible and lightly dry the whisk. Leave it to air dry completely on it's stand.

3. Return it to it's bamboo caddy once dry to maintain the whisk's shape.
