Home cafe turned into a local cottage baker 🥺💚 Excited to bring even more matcha recipes to the community!

& yes matcha beverages are still a focus! Just adding some extra fun to my kitchen.

You’ve probably heard it before, but you can’t pour from an empty cup.

So here’s your reminder today: check in with yourself, slow down when needed, and make space for what fills you back up.

Because you can’t keep serving from an empty chawan. 🍵

You can’t tell me this isn’t art 💚👏

Using @matchasocial.usa No. 1 here & homemade vanilla honey cardamom syrup

Opened a new tin 🍵

I so graciously was sent a tin of @matchasocial.usa No. 1 which is a Yame matcha and to no surprise, I loved it. Yame is one of my favorite regions, and this traditional Fukuoka blend definitely showed itself through. Per usual, I tried this matcha first as an usucha. It has a warm, velvety nuttiness balanced with a natural sweetness and creamy green finish. It’s doesn’t need anything additional to make it enjoyable and I could absolutely enjoy this as an usucha regularly.

That said, I also really enjoyed it as a latte. Personally, I think it’s naturally sweet enough to skip the syrups, but if you like a touch of extra flavor, I’d pair it with something warm like cinnamon, honey, or vanilla. This is one of those tins I would definitely restock in my matcha station.

Thank you @matchasocial.usa for sending this over! You’ve definitely earned a customer out of me. 💚

In a world that constantly asks us to move faster, there is something beautiful about slowing down.

One of my favorite things about matcha is the way it invites us to pause, be present, and move through our day with a little more intention. The simple act of whisking reminds me to savor the moment instead of rushing to the next thing. The slow moments are often the ones that bring the deepest sense of calm for us.

This week, I’m inviting you to embrace a slower rhythm, be a little more present, and give yourself permission to linger in the moment.

2 years of Matcha Contigo 🎂🎉

First, I want to celebrate you. I am incredibly grateful for every person I’ve connected with over the last 2 years. What started as a small page with the hope of fostering community within DFW has grown into something that reaches people across the country and even around the globe. That is something I’ll never take for granted.

Thank you for the support, encouragement, conversations, and shared love of matcha. We’ve learned together, grown together, and built a community that means so much to me.

Matcha Contigo means “matcha with you.” While community was always at the heart of this page, the deeper meaning comes from Matthew 28:20: “I am with you always.” The “with you” or “contigo” has always been a reminder that God is with us. My prayer is that this page is more than matcha. I hope it serves as a reminder that you are seen, loved, encouraged, and never alone.

Thank you for being here and for being part of this journey. Here’s to two years of matcha, community, and the reminder that God is always with you. by @matchacontigo

May home cafe was a success and I’m extremely grateful 💚🍵

Thank you to the community that we’ve built. I genuinely love each and every one of you so much for supporting this passion of mine. Thank you for taking the time out of your weekend to stop and chat, pray, and enjoy matcha. I’m truly forever grateful.
