seoul noodle shop tanjong pagar u go google got damn a lot of articles online featuring this but anyway the queue really very long friday evening dinner time wait 1 hr ok so if ur hobby is queueing then ur at the right place 🥰 but for me my hobby is not queueing my friend queue for 1 hr i reach 5 mins before 🥰 anyway we r pigs so we ordered quite a few things need to channel the inner mukbang eater in us

also price and menu attached in last pic because i am kind and considerate and good things must share right

spicy chicken cheese dakgalbi $38.50
the portion rly so big like so much chicken and sauce it is crazy and lots of veg like cabbage and onion and also a lot of cheese also but a tad salty u need to eat it with rice but this one not bad 8/10 just that maybe order if u r in bigger groups because chicken - 1 you - 0 u cfm lose it’s so big how u finish?????

beef pancake $24.50
looking forward to this the most bc i have never seen this at any other restaurant it was interesting and yummy but the pancake was not pancake it just tasted like omelette no flour so suggestion to the restaurant maybe change the dish name to “beef omelette” r u deceiving ur customers w the name..?.?.? but this was 9/10 my friends said this was their favourite

i mean it just tastes like how it should be noodles very aldente and it was busssin portion also big and bc it is cold very refreshing i love

big rib bone noodle $29.50
they never lie they say big rib the rib really big they give 3 pcs all also a lot meat so my suggestion is u go in a group of 3 each person can take 1 piece don’t need do so much math how to divide the meat all #maths #mathematician the soup very clear and light on the palate for someone who has a heavier palate this was actually yummy actly everyone over there ordering this like literally every table had this u know

overall this place really not bad just that u ask me q 1 hour for this i ask u to q urself idl queuing i am a lazy person but pls go n try i think most people will like it

this isn’t a food review but js wanted to share some random life updates by some sheer stroke of luck i won a giveaway recently so just documenting it here cus it made me happy HEHE (duh)

crememaison bakery raspberry lychee cake!!!!!! - the cake is sososososo gorgeous it’s insane 🌹🌸🌷🌼 im not that big of a flower girl but this was absolutely beautiful!!!!!

also won a pod pilates sess - essentially it’s a private self directed pilates session for 50 mins. it was in serangoon gardens areas so i decided to eat my fav RK prata and everything still slaps just as hard. the fried chicken still slaps the hardest BC HOW TF IS IT SO YUMMY???!?!???

anw if u r scared of eating alone in public pls dont b scared just look at me.. sister wolfed down a huge plate of fried chicken and prata all by herself at 3pm and do i care if ppl saw me eating alone?? NO. all i care abt is if my tummy was happy or not 😋😋😋!!!!!

seeing all the reviews hyping the tarts online so sister gotta check it out for herself but honestly it was so mid 🫩 to pay this price point for a tart yet the crust is extremely hard to the point i had to use my hands to break them apart simply because the cutlery provided couldn’t even cut through the tart crust… if i eat tart why must i use my hands to break the tart crust apart… pistachio taste was ok ~ not overpowering just light and nutty. sour cherry pie was more up my alley but the compote made the pie base super soggy and it ended up being a lumpy soggy base.. tart crust was also super hard. i am a hugeeee fan of hard tart crust but i think this one was overly hard wor

honey glazed chicken bahn mi was delish!!! bread is not the most fragrant i’ve had but it was a good oily messy bahn mi which i thoroughly enjoyed!!!! although the oil was dripping HAJSHSSJSSH. salted foam cocoa felt like a childhood drink and the iced egg coffee was soooo strong i had trouble sleeping at night.. waited for about ~20mins on a hot sweaty 1pm weekend noon type of vibes so if u r impatient then dun eat here lor since u have to wait. it’s always packed with ppl

I love my noods. esp udon and soba!!!!!!!! do u know that buckwheat soba is packed with PROteIN🙂‍↔️ on avg they’re about 12-15g of protein est.300-350kcal for a 90g serving which isnt too shabby!!! i usually like to portion out my noods so i can eat the pack of noods many many times girl math indeed 😀 +++ load up on ur sides and protein. yum?

anw u guys know i love 2 cook and when i had the chance to try Okayama Hand Pulled Noodles & Udon (https://s.shopee.sg/7fYWc7nrKn) on shopee I couldn’t say no bc i was genuinely fuelled by my curiously how would a udon/soba speciality noodle shop’s quality would differ from what you see on the shelves on donki. fyi when sister was a student I used to buy my noods from daiso lol then it got upgraded to donki. anw the noodle quality is insane bc it reminds me exactly like the ones i’ve had in japan restos - vvvv bouncy, chewy but ofc you have to cook it the right way and soak it in an ice bath after to stop the cooking process 😀 is the noodle a basketballer??? bounce bounce. but admittedly with the prices this would be a splurge for an occassion at home ur date night or anniversary night or whatever night la.

just to be transparent (actly why do we say transparent I wanna be translucent cannot????) i went to @buenobuenosg twice and they kindly invited me down to try more of menu so the pics here some r paid by me on my first 2 trips and some r courtesy of buenobueno but my tongue is mine so my review is my own opinion la

if u r a raffles place corporate rat they r literally just at CIMB plaza like actly my friends and i wanted to eat pho for lunch but when we reached there the shop closed down alr and bueno bueno took over so we said ok in life must be spontaneous and flexible so we tried and lo and behold i came back for a second time cus i really wanted to try the tacos (served during dinner) and it did not disappoint!!!!!!!🔥 the tacos r SO YUMMY. its the soft type cus im an uwu girl with a soft heart 😍 the tacos r not too saucy so u can still taste d protein!! also the ice summer cooler aka homemade ice lemon tea is so delish. downed it right after a 6km run.

why did they open an outlet in nus after i graduated????😡 shld build it while i was still studying so my greedy ass can travel to utown to eat.

anyway yums, i still dream of the chicken poppers too😀🤟🏻😀🤟🏻😀🤟🏻 woohoo! m gna bring my colleagues back here.

is it just me but I rlly think the interior of the restaurant is rlly so sexy look at that deep red and the vibes are CRAZY 🔥🔥 dining there rlly felt like I was dining with my Italian friends…🙂‍↕️ love d atmosphere

fried burrata ($26) literally tasted like what it says… fried burrata. maybe bc it was fried so it tasted a little less creamy than what i would expect it to be like… perhaps it can come with a slide of bread or smth to add a little oomph to the dish bc when u cut through the burrata the whole fried batter just comes out and separates from the burrata…..

pollo ($36) chicken breast at an italian resto….. erm maybe i should have ordered something else bc this was disappointing lol chicken wasn’t juicy, nor was it as tender as I’d expect it to be.. just really tasted like chicken with red peppers…..

mortadella & pistachio pizza ($35)
pistachio mayo was so interesting!!! this was yummy and the pizza was sizeable, loved it. crust was also just nice not too thick but what made everything yummier was the chilli oil!!!!! 🌶️ i love chilli oil chilli oil loves me we r happy family 🌶️❤️ taken in Medusa Osteria Romana by @matchadinos

@umami.sg u r my love. v diff from the other salad shops in cbd bc of the sauce variety!!!! and it seems like the menu changes up pretty often 😗 tried the beef brisket bowl and SOOOOO FRIKIN TENDER ohmy love im not supp to eat beef bc of religion but erm this beef brisket i’ll eat anyday sry duapekgong. most shops usually offer steak as a protein option but the steak just kinda so so vibes but this beef brisket captured my heart.

also they offer archar. i love me a good archar bc it reminds me of the one my grand aunt makes but she doesn’t make it anymore so erm now I can find my archar fix here???? slays.

the springy noods were also yummy. me loves them lol.

seaweed & sesame was v fragrant, while the hyuganatsu sauce was tangy and refreshing slurps. the sauce selection here is vvvv diff from most shops where u find pesto or olive oil or lime etc just basic peasant sauces typa vibes

umami can make me ur salad ambassador pls?
actly when i first tried this i went arnd telling my friends and I got mixed reviews bc have to admit the salad here is more on the heavy tasting side so for those who r looking for v clean ones pls ask for less sauce / choose smth less heavy. but i stan my heavy taste buds so ya. yummy yumzzos!!!! i love u @umami.sg do u love me taken in One Raffles Place by @matchadinos

the way i walked into @frostedbyfang and got so excited….. ordered without looking at the price lols they’ve been on my mind ever since my last visit…. bought so many things this time round idc abt my waistline anymore….i’ll just run more..

mochi donuts ($4 each) : got the raspberry kaffir lime / lychee yuzu / hojicha pistachio and all were soooo yummy yumzzos!!!! i still think the lychee yuzu one is the best bc the flavours are so well balanced out and i just LOVE the bouncy-ness of the mochi donut 💛💛💛

earl grey raspberry thyme cheesecake ($6.50): this was my fav!!!! tastes super unique and I love that the thyme helps to balance out the tangy raspberry flav. idk maybe this is not for everyone but it’s defo for me. WOOOOOOO

taro mochi cake ($5): super boing boing and wasn’t too sweet which i love. tasted like orh nee in mochi cake version 😮‍💨 slayed lor rlly

pecan bssm tiramisu ($16): the coffee overpowered the bssm quite a bit so it just tasted like tiramisu but i loved it either way. coffee was vvv strong tasting and the lil pecan bits gave the tiramisu a slight crunch every few mouthfuls. LOVE LOVE LOVEE.

pineapple matcha ($8): was looking fwd to this and it was v refreshing but sadly a tad disappointed bc the fruits overpowered powered the matcha. i think this wld be super nice if it was slightly fizzy???? 😆😆😆

anw I can’t wait to see what’s next month menu i’ll be back pls WAIT FOR ME… my waistline pls take annual leave thx… taken in Frosted by Fang by @matchadinos
