As requested!!! Since majority of us consume our matcha lattes alone or with a special someone, I thought to share this small batch recipe that actually works 🤩

For educ purposes:
Tried (4x) to scale down my 4-ingredient big batch honey whip so you don’t have to. It doesn’t work because scaling down the ingredients breaks the physics and thermodynamics of aeration.

Because of that, I came up with this 2-serving fail proof honey whip recipe for lattes.

You want to avoid whipping the honey and cream directly in one go. Honey is densed and heavy. With the 2:3 ratio used, it will weigh down the cream. Folding the mixture, and then refrigerating it overnight will give you stiff peaks the next day ready for use.

Disclaimer: not a pro, but have done enough R&D 🧐

Ratio for your lattes:
1️⃣4g matcha/ 40ml 75cc water / 80ml milk/ 15ml honey whip
2️⃣6g matcha/ 60ml 75cc water/ 100ml milk/ 25ml honey whip

Sip. DO NOT MIX. Enjoy.

A little sweet and salty treat to end the honey month 🍯 — recipe in caption. Method below:

1. In a pan on medium high heat, mix sugar, water, and honey until fullt dissolved.
2. Once you reach 300F, remove from heat. Use a candy thermometer.
3. Add the baking soda, and give it a quick mix (3-5sec).
4. Pour into a pan lined with parchment paper.
5. Let it cool for at least 1 hour.
6. Enjoy on its own, with melted chocolate, fruits, coffee, or your matcha!

Thank you kindly for gifting me this to try!

Good Honey ships their products domestically across the United States.

And honestly, after countless experiments using honey in my matcha, it just might be my new fave sweetener 😋

It’s so versatile! I’m definitely using this on more recipes!

Been reaching for this matcha powder since I received it. It’s so buttery smooth and macadamia-nutty. I especially love it unsweetened.

@naokimatcha made me try their US matcha lineup! My thoughts on screen ☺️ Thank you kindly!

For this matcha flight, I opted for mini matchas to enjoy as shots (that I still sipped 🥳)

Ratio used:
❣️ 2g matcha powder
❣️ 25ml 75cc hot water
❣️ 50ml oatmilk

Guess which one’s my favorite 🤩
