Adding Norway 🇳🇴 to my list of places that I’ve “lived” in. Trail running and roadtripping Norway with my best friend & love @mara1650 , Happy 2 year anniversary! Of course I couldn’t leave without running a marathon and rolling at least one ankle by @mateojsantizo
Always down to send… last minute backyard ultras (DNFed at 100K), 50ks with the pros, track workouts and snowshoeing!! by @mateojsantizo
The lion doesn’t concern himself with a mid Hyrox time Thanks for everyone that showed up to support and watch me get demolished by burpees! Grateful to have a supportive and fun community @ljtrackclub @theyardgym_pacificbeach @milestonerunning @ganbatte_2.0 This has been a fun training cycle! It was a rough first Hyrox solo, I’ll definitely be back! Time for a 50k tho 😏 by @mateojsantizo
The mountains 🏔️ are free so of course I’ll be there! From being chased by a mountain lion at Cresthooch 127 w/ @josefnewgarden, our team winning 🥉 place! To exploring the North Cascades with @mara1650 ! by @mateojsantizo
Summer has been lots of running around in circles and exploring the mountains! Hard to convince me that San Diego isn’t the best place to live! by @mateojsantizo
Exploring the Redwoods, the Oregon Coast then Seattle! My favorite part is being out in nature, now it’s even better when you have your best friend @mara1650 ! Never going to stop exploring! Enjoy all the green 🌲! by @mateojsantizo
¡Siempre explorando! Spring was full of new experiences! From exploring Santa Barbara with @mara1650, winning a relay race with @pbrunclub, experiencing a new sport @otilloraceusa to visiting my dad’s homeland of Guatemala. So grateful for finally visiting Guatemala and experiencing my culture. I’ll never stop exploring! See you this summer! by @mateojsantizo
Hyrox Anaheim 2024 We raced hard and were humbled. Nothing like a sport to make you feel mid at running and lifting. Had so much fun at Mixed doubles w/ @e_lanjill . Will definitely be back! It was a fun few months getting strong & fast! Appreciate all the friends that joined this journey! Especially coach @doug_golog for showing us how it’s done and crushing his pro debut! by @mateojsantizo
Chicago Marathon 2024 Goal was to hit a 3:30 marathon. After mile 17, the plan just went out the window. The energy & crowd at Chicago was amazing, I’ve never experienced a marathon like this before. Even though I didn’t reach my first goal, exploring the city with friends made it worth it. Catching a red eye Thursday night so we can make sure we had enough time to explore the city on Friday made the trip memorable. I’ve told myself it’s ok not to always hit my running goals as long as I’m enjoying the running moments with friends. Running wouldn’t be the same without the running community, thanks to @ljtrackclub , @milestonerunning , @pbrunclub ! 📸 : @arjunpundarika & @nickotis by @mateojsantizo
