This Tuesday (6th October) the fantastic @mateujmusic is @the_hybrid_sessions special guest 🙌

Expect a brilliant fusing of live music and electronic production - blending jazz, RnB, house, hip-hop, soul, and beyond 🎶

The first set (8-8:45pm) will be with Mateu J, @loz_on_drums, and other invited musicians. Then, for sets 2 and 3 (9-11pm) the stage is open to musicians to get involved! It’s a really great opportunity to meet likeminded music makers and create something special ❤️

Pop @the_hybrid_sessions a message to check what gear you need to bring 🫡

More of a listener than a player? No problem. Come along, kick back, and enjoy some utterly unique music. It’s free entry and it’s Happy Hour ALL NIGHT (buy 2 drinks = free pizza / 2 house cocktails = £15) 🕺

A snippet of 'Nowhere Near The End' live.

Filmed in Mexico right before heading back to the UK. Mexico was such an incredibly inspiring and creative chapter for me, and this track is a piece of that.

Because I was traveling light, I had to route absolutely everything through a single input on the OP-1. It gave the final mix some unexpected interference and noise, but honestly, I love the character it added. 😅

Check out the full video via the link in my bio.

On the 14th March I will be releasing my first single ‘Ether’, which I wrote while living in my van. It will be the first track of a 7 track EP.

My first single, 'Ether', will be released on March 14th on all major streaming platforms. The photo reflects a slightly unexpected journey, as a cancelled flight to Mexico led to a delightful two-night stay in Amsterdam.

In 2022, I embarked on a journey, living out of a van. During this time, I dedicated myself to writing music. Next month, I'm excited to start sharing the music I created with you all.

What a year 2024 was. Travelled a lot, vanned around Canada, road tripped to Croatia from Calderdale, and explored Dublin. I moved into a new studio. Took a load of samples and wrote a bunch of music. I also spent a lot of the year working on new music for @neotamusic , played a few DJ sets with @summusduo and jumped on the bass to perform with @alinalymusic a fair few times.

1. Exploring the beautiful Lake District in Winter.
2. Saying goodbye to living in a van.
3. Released Neota 'Idled' Music Video.
4. Inspired by Denyse Thomasos work at Vancouver Art Gallery.
5. DJing at the Yard, Manchester, with Summus Duo (@noisia_official Cover)
6. Writing in St Stephen's Green, Dublin.
7.Playing with Alina Ly, at The Deaf Institute, Manchester.
8. Seeing @3trappedtigers on their farewell tour.
9. Driving 12 hours in one day from Germany to Halifax to make it to see The Streets, @mikeskinnerltd .
10. Moved into a new studio space.

During the last weekend of September I wrote 7 pieces inspired by the 7 elements (Ether, earth, air, water, wood, fire and metal) while in my van. I found a beautiful forest within the UK to stay at. I have now released snippets from each piece accompanied with an animation I created using a combination of After Effects and Blender 3D. Each animation was uniquely created for each piece.

Equipment used:
Ableton
Moog Minitaur
Teenage Engineering OP1
Earthquake Devices Hizumitas
Earthquake Devices Avalanche Run
Fender Telecaster Nashville Deluxe
Focusrite 18i20
