Nearly two centuries, preserved in the details.

Completed in 1836, Matfen Hall was created with a Gothic-style entrance, a full-height Great Hall and architectural details that still define its character today.

Look a little closer and those 19th-century beginnings remain woven throughout the Hall.

History here isn’t simply remembered. It can still be seen.

It’s 1832. Or at least, it feels like it.

The name marks the year work began on Matfen Hall, with the present Hall taking shape between 1832 and 1836.

Almost two centuries later, its history still sets the tone.

Old-world glamour, poured into the present.
