What a amazing month 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿➡️🇫🇮➡️🇫🇷

I'm never going to forget this last month of travelling across Europe. From the kayaking to spending time with friends and family, and being surrounded by such an incredible community, it's been an unforgettable experience.

Going to Finland and coming home as the European Champion still feels surreal. My goals were simply to break 1,000 points in an international competition, smile, laugh, and feel free on the water. Winning the title was something I never expected. Before the European Championships, I worked hard to change my mindset and focus on enjoying the sport I love, embracing the freedom and happiness that freestyle kayaking gives me.

Although I lost that mindset at the World Cup, it reminded me how easy it is to get caught up in the pressure of competition. Watching one of the best junior men's finals I've ever seen and seeing @jake_bermo take home gold with three incredible rides was the perfect way to end an amazing trip. I'm so grateful to everyone who made this month so special.

And a massive thanks to my sponsors @immersionresearch.eu and @gllsportfoundation . And a massive thanks @bethan.cradock , my dad, @ottiliekayaks and @realgb for the massive support and coaching you've given to me over the last year.

Plattling world championship 2025🌊📉

Had a good time in plattling, unfortunately due to the extremely low water levels the junior k1 category didn't go any further than the preliminary rounds sadly
Regardless thank you to everyone at @plattlingfreestyle and @icffreestyle for creating such a great atmosphere for all the great paddlers that gave their all in the world championship!!

Amazing first full year with the brilliant team immersion research.

🏆Achieving 10th in world championship, 2nd in the European cup and 2nd in the British championship

Huge thanks to the amazing team at IR for all the support over the past year. Your reliable and well-designed dry gear has kept me out on the water for hours every day. This summer especially, your equipment has truly inspired me to keep paddling hard, stay focused, and keep pushing forward to my goals in the kayaking world

Thanks so much to the amazing IR team🙏

Had some great rides today at team trails day 2, especially after injuring my back at world cup2 😂

Was very happy to get well over 1000pts in every run and coming 5th in the senior category on day 2 in my first senior/under 23 trails.

Big thanks to @abloc_physio for helping me get well enough to perform for trails, now time for some downtime! 🙏 by @math.kayak

A huge congratulations to Math Cradock on becoming K1 Junior Men European Champion at the 2026 @paddle.europe Freestyle Championships in Lieksa, Finland.

Math arrived in Lieksa in strong form, qualifying comfortably through the preliminary rounds before securing his place in the final with a second-place finish in the semi-finals. When the medals were on the line, he stepped up once again, producing a winning score of 1031.67 points to claim the European title.

The Junior Men’s competition showcased some of the best young freestyle talent in Europe, making this achievement all the more impressive. To stand on top of the podium against such a strong international field is a remarkable accomplishment and a sign of the hard work, talent and commitment that Math brings to the sport.

Championships can be unpredictable. They demand consistency, composure and the ability to deliver under pressure. Throughout the week, Math showed all three, saving one of his best performances for the final when it mattered most.

To leave Lieksa as a European Champion is something very special.

Congratulations, Math. Enjoy every second of it. You’ve earned it. 🥇🇬🇧
